I hate Japanese RPG's, and european games. I go for FPS's and sports. WHen killzone PS3 drop I will be on it even if the price does not drop. As of right now there is no reason to buy a PS3. Of the Wii and 360 have large user bases then dev will have to make a choice. Spending extra dev time and $$$ for the PS3 just may not be in the books.
When it was the PS2 it was about games. Now it's about the hardware. I like to think of it as a 3 part thing, hardware, software and services.
They will never admit it.
For one of these formats to die so I can "Jump in". I would hate to buy a player that would be obsolete in a few years.

Helped alot. I will look into this. I love HDTV service that I get but if I can get it cheaper I will. A 80 gb HD recorder from direct tv is $300(off the self for old customers). A HDD upgrade is a no brainer.
1. HDD size can be an issue if you record HD content. Hell 60 gigs will not be big enough.
2. What type of speen will I need. I'm at 6mbs. Will I be able to can on live in one room while some one else watches TV in another.
3. Cost (maybe we will know more by the end of the year). I will tell directv to kiss my but if it's competative and reliable. I'll put a 360 in every room for this.
4. What channels will they offer.
I use it mainly for gaming. Movie DL are okay to. If the games suck gamers will not come. M$ and Sony can make there console dso what ever they want them to do. As for gaming it should bde #1 priority.
I bet this will make EPIC consider UT 07 for the 360. Just think with PS3 installed base to reach only about 2 million when the game is rleased epic better rethink the if it will be exclusive. $$$$$ talks B.S runs a marathon.
I play through component and VGA im cool. M$ can change the console when ever they want. As long as all games released work on the launch 360 that I have. Take a chill pill. This is the CE business. Hell $3,000 TV's get out dated all the time. As long as I have options I'm cool. My launch 360 will play Halo3 right? Same with the PS3 you can get the $500 version if you want to.
If the 360 was 10 x more powerful, $100, and had all the fav japanese games it still has no chance.
Somehow you out the fanboy spin on it. Eitherway these are not in game. I have a feeling that you will be making excusses up for the PS3 version. This game will be a PS2 port. Remember EA runs the show.
It's not your responsibility to sale console. Sony has big $$$ ppl that are suppose to sale consoles. Just keep gaming and let Sony worry about pushing there console.
In the end the consumer will not win. If you choose a format that will be invalid in 2 years you will loose. How long will this go on. I payed $150 for my fist DVD player. I will not pay over $200 for my first HD movies player. I am playing the waiting game.
Rehashed, recycled, garbage. These guys are worse than EA. Maybe they should make something new. The 360 version was trash and I hope for gods sake they fix the PS3 version. After playing GEARS gfx wise all games look like PS2 trash. Sorry but this is true. Mono-sh8ts should hold there head in shame. This game was not even fun.
Looks like crap. RPG's are not my favorite. I kinda liked Oblivion. After 50 hours of play I got tired of it. The fact that I only finished about 20% shows how good I am at RPG's
Lie-on makes a stand alone. It will be cheap as hell.
PS3 is the reason for the support. Those supporters know that the Playstation brand is big.
IF it was not for the PS3 then BR would be dead. That is what sucks about BR. It needs PS3, HD-DVD does not need xbox. HD-DVD can stand on it's own. VC-1 is by M$. Therefore any BR movies done in VC-1 will be $$$ to M$. BR is using the extra disk space to avoid VC-1.
