Sure looks like it. How many PS3 games do you have. The PS3 is being out sold by the Wii in Japan. Sony can't even hold it own against the Wii. That is that 10 years old tech you are talking about right. THE PS3 HAS BR ONLY BECAUSE SONY SALES MOVIES.
HD movies have been around for a while. If can watch them on a computer without HD-DVD or Blu-ray then they (electronic manufactures) could make stand alone players that do it also.

When Sony talked about the PS4 not have a physical media that killed it for me. Fact is gears looks better than any game on any system period. So by your statements Sony made the PS3 for GT5. If it is taking them 3 years to make GT5 and 3 1/2 years to make MGS4 then the PS4 will be out by the time a new MGS and GT hit. The times of Sony killer sequels on one generation could be over. I READ THAT OBLIVION ON THE PS3 WILL USE MORE ROOM THAN THE 360 VERSION BECAUSE THE DEV WILL HAVE TO DUPL...

I guess they could just do like Sony and force you to one resolution. The VGA connection supports like 6 resolutions. Maybe a f-up on the update. I play in 1080i through component most of the time. I will try my VGA later.
still the power debate. Let the games tell what console is the most powerful. As of 1-10-07 I say the 360. Now when Killzone drops that may all chhange. BTW GOW has looked the same since E3 05. So the GFX are still first gen. The dev talents and $$$ also have alot to do with it.

Sony could sale 6 million consoles on hype alone. Just put Sony on the console and they will sale. That is why when I go into gamestop I see PS3's stacked all over the place.
