I think capcom rarely refers to him, and the only reference i read was where he was called Shin, which simply means true.

True, metal gear sells very well.
I expected no less, i had playstations in the past, and i liked Metal gear a lot on it, my favorite is still metal gear solid on the psone.
Those boss fights where classic, raven owned :)
Ofcourse, Crysis wont be beaten for a while in gfx department.

Konami these days is only good for Metal gear, Suikoden and Castlevania.
The latter two are DS series, and Metal gear is a sony magnet.
