Console gaming is just easier. I'd rather kick my shoes off after work, fall into my sofa and turn my PlayStation on then go to my room and hunch up at my computer to play games on a keyboard/mouse. I know you can hook up a computer to a TV and a controller to a PC, but it's just not convenient.
Does the average consumer easily find $215 Wii U, or do they go to the store and see the $300 price tag and get turned away from it because they think it's an ad-on to their Wii?
I would never in a million years notice a difference between the three unless they were side by side. It's not that big of a difference, even though 720p is a tad bit more foggier than 1080p and 900p is in between. Not a large difference by any stretch of the imagination.
It's addicting, developer's already have a name for themselves (not Respawn but the people at Respawn), and it's Xbox One's first big huge that isn't on PlayStation.
It's not rocket science.
But you have to download the game, or at the very least stream it, which requires an internet connection.
PC gaming being all digital is why I don't do much gaming on PC
Pro: No more changing discs
Cons: You are required to have an internet connection, no more trading in games, no more collecting games, we're gunna need larger hard drives, If game prices stay the same gaming will be even more affordable
Reminds me a lot of Demon's/Dark Souls, which is a good thing. Not sure how I feel about it being F2P though. At least I can play it for free, and if it sucks all I wasted was time.
How did this get approved? The link doesn't work. . .
I don't think an online only game that is also on 360/PC and probably coming to PlayStation consoles will sell much Xbox Ones, even if it is incredibly addictive and amazing, which seems to be the overall opinion from the beta so far.
Personally, I'm getting South Park, Dark Souls 2, Infamous, and Metal Gear (I'm not a fan of online games really, I'm more of a single player guy so Titanfall isn't my cup of tea). Only South Park fans should get the game. If you're not a fan of the show, why get the game?
But he removed it from both Apple and Android stores. I'm not sure if he makes money off of the currently out games, but more exposure won't make him anymore money because nobody can download it anymore.
Gone Home is the most over rated game of 2013. Usually that title is reserved for Call of Duty...
Gone Home is like playing a first person shooter, but without the shooting, so all you have is an intel scavenger hunt.
Actually, this is the first Flappy Birds article I approve of on this site. It's pretty cool to hear people still care enough about LBP 2 to recreate the game in it.
@kx11 Only two PS4 games I know of that got delayed are Drive Club and Watch Dogs.
Was anybody really excited for Drive Club?
10% done is probably for just starting up the game because it's so short.
Lmao I kid, I kid. Getting it day one huge Metal Gear fan here
I can imagine the Sony fanboys now, just like when the Xbox fanboys attack PlayStation Betas that crash. That's the point, or else you'll end up like GTA V
@everybody above
@pupa I never said that. PS4's games will help keep it in the lead. Let's be honest, Mario Kart and Smash Bros will sell more Wii U's then infamous will sell PS4's. Halo will sell more Xbox Ones then Uncharted will sell PS4's. All amazing AAA games though, just saying Halo and Smash Bros are more recognized.
@GenericNameHere You are a new type of stupid. Can you look through my comment history and please find where I ever ...
Once it stocks up to the point where you can easily walk into the store and buy one, the gap between PS4 and One/U should widen a bit. I don't think it will be that big of a gap though, because Smash Bros and Mario Kart should boost Wii U sales, and Halo should boost One sales
But then I have to have my PC in a room where my TV is. I use my Personal Computer in my room, as it is more personal. My console lives in my living room, which is shared with everybody in my house. I'm not arguing your lifestyle I'm arguing why PC gaming just isn't ideal for my life style.
