Sony is doing fine in the software department when you compare it to the ps3 install base.
360 has about 2.5 times the install base as ps3 and they sell about 2.5 times the software accordingly.
So when you look at it in reality they are right where they should be. With greater install base will come greater software sales.
It's simple really, its costing Sony too much to retain it. They will come out with a new 100 gig+ sku with limited to no bc and without motorstorm bundled in. This will also prove beneficial for Europe with the play tv service coming out soon.
This brings in the second reason, they need to get rid of the motorstorm bundle in order to make room for the sequel that is scheduled for release this year and for which media buz will soon abound with screenshots, trailers, etc.

By the time the exclusive 360 content comes out people (including myself) will be over it already and be playing other games after trading it in
Hey, i just recently downloaded ps3 themes from psu.com from the ps store. Whenever i go to the themes tab and select a theme it works fine initially...
but as soon as i play a game or turn off the ps3, when i go back to the xmb it automatically goes back to the original background.
Anyone know why this happens, or how to stop it from happening?
Its annoying that i have to re-select a theme to use each time i turn off my ps3 or play a game
IF you look at those pics (even though of low quality) compared with other older screen shots around you can tell there is a lot more detail in the environment and better textures for sure. The pics suggest the final game is gonna look solid at worst.
