Why would anybody want to purchase a 1080p product if they're not going to use it? The majority of flat screen tv's are 42 inches and it's universally known that 720p and 1080p look exactly the same. You need at least a 50 or higher to see any difference. So you're telling me that you don't mind paying a premium price for something you're not going to use? Services like Netflix is a win win situation since you are able to choose 720p or 1080p.
A perfect score? This game clearly has some drawbacks. Must be a biased site.

KZ2 has zero creativity. First of all the enemy has no variety. They all look the same. You have dark soldiers with red eyes. Wow, if I told my 8 year old cousin to draw a bad guy that is exactly what he would draw up. Halo has tons of enemy variety. The Covenant, the Brutes, the Grunts, the Flood, the Jackals, the Hunters, etc... And each one carries a feeling of "never seen that before"
The weapons? KZ2 has the same stock weapons from every other shooter... sh...
Yeah most of the people that complain about Halo 3 are the sony fans. The graphics is amazing and the lighting effects is the best I have ever seen in a game. Not every game has to look like Resistance, Gears, or KZ. What Halo 3 beats KZ2 is in creativity and imagination. KZ2 has basic enemies, basic weapons, and basic maps. Like you said the gravity hammer, Covenant sword, or my personal favorite... the Spartan Laser scream creativity. The maps? Straight out of science fiction heaven...
Good review. I been saying it for awhile but the game looked like it was a "Standard-issue FPS action" and " lack of imagination and innovation"

Looks like Chean&Dirty is the only smart one here. Playing games that are 720 native on a 1080p tv and you will have lag. Games like Madden, Rock Band, and any shooter will have a slight lag. I think it's safe to say that games that are coming out this gen are not going to be 1080p and at a solid frame rate.
