Agreed. Either there is a mass epidemic of amnesia, or the people calling "flop" this soon on a console have started gaming only just recently. Also can't forget those hit-fishermen, who only just want something to write about for hits.

I saw that crap on netflix. The movie was bad on it's own and may be even funny at first, but only someone who is aware of KoF's history/story/characters can truly understand how near-offensive it was.
Another shining example of why game-to-film adaptations should not be attempted.

That's incredible. With that in consideration, making it multiplatform probably would have been a better decision to make much, much early on rather than near last second.

Yeah..... What were they thinking releasing it in September? Not only do they have to develop it for the other platforms, they may have to spend MORE money just for advertising just to try and complete in that month compare to if they have had released earlier.

Indeed, that can also be the case/reason for this move. Third parties generally don't have the best history on Nintendo platforms. However, for some, there is more to it than that ( such as poor advertising, poor ports, etc. ), which is a conversation for another time.
Whatever it may be, they are going to place this game in quite the potential predicament when it launchs compared to the window they could have had had they've released it on an earlier date.

I can see why they may have been cautious with releasing it as an exclusive, new console and all. Not to mention the constant slew of hit-fishing journalism pieces on it in the media, despite it's fair sales. Releasing it on multiple platforms for better sales would be a good idea, can pay off even. However........ the month that was chozen for it's release wasn't smart at all, in my opinion, especially if they've actually wanted it to sell and with less effort.
From what I've seen, most of the uproar was over the big delay rather than it's exclusivity.
Nice read. The system just launched not too long ago, and I'm stunned people are so quick write it off as if this is going to be Nin's last console. After what we've seen happen with the PS3 and 3DS, anyone who didn't just start gaming recently should know better.
But yeah, it's a shame about that Rayman delay.

I have no idea who these Nintendo fans you speak of are. From what I see, most fans just want to actually PLAY the recently announced and upcoming games for the machine, not marvel at how they look.
And as for nothing out now showing the power of it, well duh. No one can expect early games of a console that just launched to show what it capable of. That should be common sense. We didn't have Crisis 2 and The Last of Us like graphics on the PS3 & 360 at launch.
