sad thing is that they have alot of IP's that are screaming ofr XBLA HD releases--Battletoads, Killer Instinct, Crimson Skies, Blinx, etc.
I haven't read any of the above comments. However, I can tell you that most of them are filled with Ps3 fanboys who for some odd reason had to come in a comment about the "great" Ps3 exclusives.
You fanboys thought it was funny when it was happening only to 360 games. Killzone 3 now has an excuse for poor sales. You can blame it on the pirates.

I have both systems and dozens of games for each. FYI. Just play the games and let the business side handle itself. If the games aren't fun then they won't sell. Really it depends on whether or not its for the Ps3. If its a Sony/PS3 HD remake its the greatest thing in the world. If its a Microsoft/360 HD remake then something is being milked (ie possible HD remake of Halo: CE)

I think that its more than marketing. Could it be that that they actually delivered a quality product? I will admit that I was skeptical but my wife bought me one for christmas (I think she wanted it for herself) and I have been amazed at how well it actually works. It's really neat. I think that Fable has a loyal fanbase on the 360. Fable 3 has sold nearly 3 million units since October. Those folks love the game. I haven't bought it yet but plan on getting it soon. Don't underestimate the loyalty of a fanbase. I have xbox live friends who I would never have thought would play something like Fable who love it to death.

Bottomline is that it delivers on every aspect that makes a game great. I am sorry but just because something is advertised that doesn't mean it will sell. It appeals to hardcore and casual. Halo is also a very community driven series. They give the people what they want and they keep coming back for more.

I don't think that they made the leap necessary to be on the level with the big boys. This game feels like COD/BC2. We all know the the story is weak. It's shame because this could have been the game that put it on the level with Halo. GG really need to scrap this franchise and go in a new direction.
