Representing humans with more realistic and relatable traits, both physical and emotional, isn't a political agenda. It's more interesting content.

Are you really upset that when they decided to be inclusive of people on the spectrum, they didn't choose a male character just because they're more common?

This is how games work. Breath of the Wild is a Wii U to Switch remaster. Twilight Princess is a Gamecube to Wii remaster. Every PC game ever is a multi-gen port.

It is better to do a lot of what you do well, than try to do everything and fail to deliver on portions of it. A game that doesn't need certain mechanics should never have those mechanics, because they become a distraction and begin to take attention and value away from what the creators of the game wanted to get across.
