Halo is undoubtedly the king of local co-op. Up to 4 players on one console. and the most important part:

Really? I think motion blur is a pretty dam important feature in modern games.
It gives the illusion that the game is running at a higher framerate than usual, and can cover up certain background details the console may not be able to run very well.
And also, the resolution of the game can be slightly lower (covered up by blur), allowing more details to be put into the environment.

Halo's AI behavior changes according to difficulty - they don't just do cheap adjustments. In addition to the AI doing more damage and such, they're more aggressive and take cover more frequently.
