Aaah, we should all form some N4G Bad Company 2 group (like those GAFers)
There is no such thing as gaming 'journalism'.
If there is, I'm not seeing it especially here on N4G, where only flamebait articles receive over 300 degrees.
So let me get this straight: analysts get paid to made predictions on video game sales?
!!!
I'm pretty sure most of N4G users can make more accurate predictions than them.
Well, if you think about it... there's not a whole lot of different ways you can make a third person shooter.
It most definitely will happen. Microsoft can't hold onto an exclusive for sh*t. Plus, Mass Effect is owned by EA.
Their way is to get all the money they can out of the game through a timed exclusivity deal, then just let it go. Cheaper that way.
But GODDAM IT they spent 50 million on the GTA DLC?! That could've gone into producing a decent first-party exclusive.
The banter between the players was really cool in the Battlefield Moments trailers. They're almost non-existant in the actual game though.
Although I'd blame that on people not using the back button enough.
The only moment I remember is getting my black hawk's tail stuck under an oil pipe. I was like a fish caught in a net. The entire team just stood there watching and laughing. :D
One of the few DLCs I would buy day 1. DO IT EA!
Lol. Saaking can't answer the question directed to him.
No more dolphin diving.
:D

I still think this game is going to bomb.
Can anyone tell me what the latest pre-order numbers were for this game?
Ah, I can actually watch the video. He brings up some good points... HHG *cough*.
The unreal engine can handle co-op and split-screen co-op very well. It would certainly be nice, kinda like Borderlands with actual character progression and a good story.
Pandamobile, just out of curiousity: do you own a console? (Not meant against you in any way. Not saying you're a PC elitist)
Um, I still find Uncharted 2's shooting mechanics kinda wonky - lack of aim assist. It would be helpful if the crosshair slowed down (SLIGHTLY, before you all start complaining) over enemies, as it would help the flow of the shooting a lot more.
Gears of War's cover and shooting mechanics are much better refined. But Uncharted trumps it in every other way.
I always had difficulty using the number keys to select certain weapons in PC shooters.
Ah, 2003. The year Half Life 2 was scheduled to come out...
Well, building completely from ground up is a waste on time and resources. Why not keep the code that worked, and build off them? After all, they are making another shooter, it's not like they're making a turn-based action game or something.
Wow, Microsoft blows. 50 Million invested and they can't keep an exclusive. I guess it's all about the profit, right? Once they're done making their money, ditch it.
Lots of good stuff here, in case you can't be bothered to click the link:
- GamePro was able to play 2 full missions of Halo: Reach
- Self-sufficiency and a darker flair are the fundamental elements.
- The story takes place on the planet "Reach", will have its "own character" and is brought to life thanks to inhabitants and localities
- Halo: Reach is set to only play on the planet surface. There will be no underground or space levels.
