I think Frankie said that the object artist in question was just stating his own skill set.

Considering that Gears of War 2 didn't come to the PC one and a half years after release, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet the sequel will be an exclusive.

The fact is, Microsoft had a huge hand in the actual development of the game and some funding - there's more of a chance it doesn't come to the ps3 than it might.
Of course, it could be Ballad of Gay Tony all over again, but by then people would have lost interest in it.
A 720p definition is quite enough for gamers like me. Heck, millions are fine with 600p with AA! (COD)
Really? Are they saying that this generation's consoles are enough? There are many things they could work on, like you said. Maybe giving developers more memory to work with? Processor power? I think developers really feel held back from their true potential with the current hardware limits.
Think about what Bungie wants to achieve scale-wise in every Halo game they make....

This game is a rare buy for me. A game's lasting value and re playability defines a purchase.

You have to consider the possibility. Microsoft isn't stupid.
FPSs nowadays:
1) Must focus on PERFECTING their gameplay style. Story should NOT be the main focus in this genre, as it's simply not a very effective way of telling them.
2) Should be more open and less heavily scripted. There are only so many times you can play the first 'mission' of Call of Duty 4. Also, in doing so, it gives the game a lot more re playability and will keep players coming back.
3) Adding more to the re playability of a game (campaign)...
I don't get it. BFBC2 is a slightly tactical, military shooter.
MOH will also be a military shooter. EA has stated that it will respect soldiers and the conflicts - so, also somewhat tactical?
They're pretty such the same games with different settings. There has to be more to differentiate them.
