Hi Mr. Troll.
I still wish we had the option of placing modern scopes on our WWII weapons.
Agree?
It's Halo-esque due to the art style. What would you expect?
The level of customization here is great! The armour pieces only being visual is somewhat of a letdown - I want them to affect me in some way - but doing so would be bad game design. Why reward players who played longer with the ability to kill others faster?
Halo's always been about balance.
From all the new info we've been getting, Reach is going to be the ULTIMATE online shooter. It literally ...
This just shows now N4G users represent a miniscule minority of the actual gamer population.

If I kill that woman, will I level up?
Alan Wake gets laid.
Happy ending.
You are a lowlife scum if this makes you happy in any way whatsoever.
Events like these simply hurt gamers as a community.
If you really think every xbox gamer out there hates the PS3 and contributed to the Heavy Rain story leaks...
Mooey
There's a reason the Halo series don't use dedicated servers: the CR*PLOAD of people playing the games! MAG numbers can be dealt with, but not these.
Halo probably has the best p2p netcode I've been on a shooter anyways. COD's is cruddy.
Well, an online shooter is not that fun if everyone there are really good.
We need to shoot wookies occasionally. These COD players will do for now.
I'm sorry, the game's story was terrible - as opposed to the game's backstory. Similar to Halo, the story has quite some potential.
But what made it worse is the dialogue. They were so generic and over-used I found myself making a disgusted face whenever my teammates said anything.
I've played a fair bit of Killzone 2 multiplayer, and I have to say:
The sluggish aiming is not 'realistic' in any way. If they're worried about the game turning too CODish if they make the controls more responsive, I believe simply making the battlegrounds larger would do. Bad Company 2 has the ideal shooter controls setup, and Killzone should follow what that game does well.
I enjoyed the game mode rotations. Kept the game feeling fresh all the time - but the grena...
I'm sorry, this article is total fail.
Those Crysis 2 'screens' are bullshots, taken from the PC version, not the consoles. It's quite obvious they're heavily touched up.
Those Halo Reach screens were from the pre-thanksgiving build. You can tell from the differences in texture quality on the Assault Rifle - and the newer builds don't have the glowing blue screen on it.
However, the Reach screenshots work in a comparison because they're taken from the 'T...

Heavy Rain's animations are nothing to be uber-impressed about. Those keyframed, in-game animations are as janky as hell. Assassins Creed 2 has the most impressive animations I have ever seen to date.
What about those cutscene animations?!!!
Motion Capture.
When we're talking about animations in games, they're usually the in-game ones, the ones you see when you actually play the game.
I'd say they're looking great.
The blending between the animations from running to walking, and from walking to not moving is smooth, and those were my biggest gripes with previous halos.
And also, they need to show off their better animations way more in the game. There's no point making an incredible idle animation if nobody's going to see it. Enemies taking cover and retreating should look good.
So... he's working on Fable 3, Milo, AND some other unannounced game?
What a job.
HA! I want it now! Is split-screen confirmed for this title?
Wow, it actually works.
And also, this glitch makes no sense. How do all the walls get blown out by knocking out two fences?
Last I heard, there's no fully operating pirated version. I think you can load the early map, but can't start missions.
You guys are as stubborn as hell. If anything, you should be 'hating' on Jim Sterling, not all of Destructoid. This is a decent article.
The Destructoid comments section is way more fun to read than those on N4G.
1) Destructoid gave God of War 3 a 10/10
2) Destructoid does not only have one opinion. It's run by several people, probably with different opinions and tastes in games.
3) This is a 'counterpoint'
4) It's always nice to look ...
Split Screen co-op.
That is all. It's already on my list of 2010 purchases.
