Why does he bother? He knows 95% of all N4G comments will be hating on him anyways.

At least this headline is not too hot.

Note the lack of replies.

I don't think everyone on LIVE is experiencing this. It might just be those posters.

And if a few forum posts make news... sigh...

Jetpacks. That is all.

Right, I think it completely depends on this child's 'maturity' level and how easily influenced they are.

Obviously, if they're three years old, then they can be easily affected by video games - good or bad. Recently, I saw a five year old kid jumping around and telling his friends about COD. I had to facepalm. How are this kid's parents raising him!

At around 14, they should have understanding of what is right, and what's wrong. I'm pretty sure games wouldn't corrup...

Really. All I see are quality textures - despite the visors looking horrendous.

Munky:
At this stage in development, don't expect any improvements to the render pipeline. All the graphics assets should be in place. The biggest improvement one can expect to see are a few extra shaders to the models - just don't hold your breath.

I guess the only question is whether the Cryengine 3 will be as flexible and versatile as the Unreal Engine.

If so, then no competition.

Yeah, I guess credible was the wrong word to use.

You get my point though.

All of a sudden, IGN becomes 'credible'?

Didn't IGN always have a bad taste in games? A clear bias against the PS3 and it's exclusive games?

Oh you guys.

I'll set up some easy-links for you people who're too busy to click the link:

These weapons are looking crazy good. Smooth, sleek covenant designs... LOVING IT! And also, if you compare the new needle rifle pics with the old ones, you can see clear improvements between alpha and beta.

Needle Rifle alpha:

beta:

Daring. If only if someone would do it for Halo Reach, cause millions are dying to see some of that single-player footage select journalists got to see a few months ago.

Champ:

Can I ask what PC games you play on your rig?

5914d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

The reason I chose consoles - at least for this generation:

The exclusive games selection.
I can't find Halo 3, ODST, or Reach on PC. Gears of War 2? Upcoming Crackdown 2?
Games without 2 month delays (Lost Planet, Ass Creed)

But I HAVE TO EMPHASIZE that it's all about personal taste/preference.
I AM NOT SAYING THAT WHAT YOU LIKE IS WRONG.

I wish I could approve. Heck, I can't even get my articles to get approved.

Funny how the author :) didn't wait for the inevitable xbox 360 slim.

Alpha-Male,

I HAVE to add you on LIVE. You're one of the most sane posters on N4G!
New gamertag?

And yeah, costs here in Canada are a bummer. I have to pay $70 dollars plus tax here in BC, Canada. That's about $79! Same for a one year LIVE subscription.

I just finished listening to the Bungie podcast. Some new 'features'?

Less aim-assist on weapons with smaller reticules

Could Halo 3 ODST's opening qualify?

And here comes the PC elitist.

Do you seriously believe consoles are kid's toys?
I can probably get plenty of support even from retarded fanboys on this site when I say that they're not.

In order to be a 'hardcore' PC gamer, people need significant investment - both money and time. Now, you can bring up the argument that one can build a decent PC for $800, but that doesn't change the fact that most don't know the most effective way to purchase parts, how to put...
