Honestly, price ranges for production just doesn’t make sense to me. Especially when you look at the digital counterpart for most games being the sane price.
Don’t cry about production cost and still sell an 80$ physical game for 80$ digital as well. Not saying R-type is 80$ but you get the picture. All in all, I’m happy Nintendo is figuring this out. This is hope for the future of physical on Nintendo platforms.

If they do the same with ps6 they can cash in on physical more, and it’s excusable for ‘accessibility’ . So they drives would be plug and play, no internet needed. I could see a crap move like that. Saves Sony production cost money too. Don’t see how you can’t correlate that.
I could almost guarantee sandfall could remake the s$!7 out of this game. I would love at least a legend of legaia REMASTER. I don’t even need the disappointment of a remake. I’m starting to understand little by little the timing of titles, and how limitations actual made certain things have their charm at those times. I’m fine with my remaster of legend of dragoon, now just hand over remastered legend of legaia.

Well if you consider that nintendo is selling physical keycards and straying them away from physical in the first place, there you have it!
You’re basically not making digital an option by turning off the physical consumer base by not adding the full game to a lot of your game cards. So it’s like no point of having physical anyway.

If you guys haven’t forgotten, right in the beginning of the digital age (gen 7 ps3 and 360) they claimed that digital would be a cheaper option for us and games would be cheaper. They started to screw over physical owners by taking away our manuals. That was the beginning of the demise.

Honestly, Sony needs to bite the bullet and finally intergrade the ps3 store with the new psn store, and make sure ps6 is backwards compatible with ps3. They would make so much money from that stuff it’s unreal. Clearly, the “outrage” shows you still have a huge following for the ps3.
