It will get scores between 9-10 for sure. Personally I would give it a 9 as I prefer the Uncharted series more but the quality of Last of Us Remastered is undeniable. Definite buy for PS4 owners and a great reason to own a PS4.
Kingdom of Amalur was a AA game on a AAA budget. I still liked, especially the vibrant visuals.
Engines are irrelevant when when you basically have PCs equivalent to 90s supercomputers running these games, muscling through any poor optimizations in the code.
Now that I think about it there are way too many games in general, at least on PC. Some of these old games from the 90s put modern games to shame, in literally everything except graphics.
Far Cry 4 is the only one I am really looking forward to, for the rest I am taking the wait and see approach.
The milk is already dried up. Just look at Gran Turismo 6 sales compared to Gran Turismo 5 sales.
I advise getting R9 290 instead of R9 280x, trust me you will thank me later.
We might not even see a Titanfall 2 on any platform anytime soon. Titanfall 1 Complete Edition has a better chance of coming to PC, Xbox One & PS4 way before Titanfall 2 comes out and if Titanfall 2 ever comes out it will have a proper Single-Player campaign and will surely be on PS4 as well. The days of AAA third-party games coming exclusively to Xbox One are over after the lack of success of the Xbox One even in the U.S.
Sorry cannot edit my post above, but this is what I meant:
Huge drop in sales tends to force developers to increase the amount of DLC/microtractions in their games to cover costs. Both Forza Motorsport 5 and Gran Turismo 6 suffer from DLC milking & micro-transaction issues "respectively" compared to their previous installments because of a huge amount of dropped sales.
If you cannot achieve 60fps just be quiet about it instead of saying stupid things like 60fps is not important. It is important in every single game, even a golf game. Just the smoothness in animations at 60fps is a huge step from 30fps. And at 120fps+ the gameplay responsiveness especially in faster paced games is so much better.
Gran Turismo 6 Complete HD = Gran Turismo 7

It is not best but best for consoles I guess. Forget 60fps I prefer playing Driving games locked at 120fps on my PC for true sense of speed and responsiveness, you have to experience it yourself to know what I am talking about.
Playing some older games at 300fps is just unbelievably smooth, it is unfortunate we are stuck aiming for the bare minimum of 30fps/60fps when we should be aiming for 300fps.
Gameplay, Story, Graphics, Audio, Replayability all need to be at high-level for a better experience.
American media (all kinds) is huge and companies need their assistance to sell their products worldwide and in order to attract the attention of the American media, the products (games included) are marketed towards the American audience primarily.
I feel Google and Facebook have Billions to burn so they are getting into core gaming business just to piss off/hurt the already struggling Microsoft if nothing else.
Interesting.
The situation is even worse than I thought. They are definitely really badly screwed.
Not only can I see it but more importantly I can feel the difference in smoothness of the gameplay animations and it is huge going from 30fps to 60fps. Even going from 60fps to 120fps is an equally huge difference and going from 30fps to 120fps is a night and day difference for me.
