I agree with you 100% in that BF is a great game. I'm still at the early in the campaign, but I don't see where the SP hate is coming from.
But, in regards to the BF sales, I feel like EA could have done so much more had they not spent the early portion of the year in bashi...
I can't wait for 'I am alive' but to pretend this concept has never been experienced before in games is silly.
The real reason I'm so excited is because it reminds me of 'Disaster Report' for the PS2 days.

The achievement system is easily one of the greatest additions in the history of console gaming.
If Microsoft got rid of it, I would personally hold Major Nelson hostage.
Achievements are also one of the reasons 720 will have an amazing attach rate from previous 360 owners who want to carry their profiles and achievements forward.

I'm a HUGE fan and would love to play MP with friends in the Mass Effect universe. A horde mose w/ reapers won't effect the single player at all. Side campaigns in the game's universe is perfect for bringing replay value to an amazing franchise.
No one bashed Valve when they added it to Portal, so I'll trust Bioware on this one.

You obviously didnt read anything written. We all know the developer gets their money when they ship to stores. We all know there was great demand for a GT5.
But, you just reinforced what I said all along. Sony shipped 5.5 million before one game was sold through at retail. When PD posted their shipping numbers a few days later the game had shipped 800k more.

Completely untrue. GT5 shipped 5.5 million to stores. It did not SELL 5.5 units in 12 days to consumers.
For instance BF3 shipped 10 Million units into stores, but the sales numbers are not going to be 10 million.
