i was hoping that with some extra time sega would be able to get rid of the glitches that plagued the 360 version, apparently not... another franchise down the tubes...
But it will not garner the lust that motorstorm seemed to. It didn't have a blowout E3 2005 cgi trailer and doesn't make claims that it will fall short of.
Flatout also doesn't have any fanboys, so if its good... awesome, if it sucks... no big deal, i won't buy it.
They are last by a large margin when compared to the Wii... but then again... so is the ps3... Both of these margins keep getting bigger. Nintendo owns Japan at this point. If I was into buying and selling stocks I'd be very happy if I owned nintendo stock... and quite upset if I bought microsoft or sony stock.
assassins creed is on both systems and so doesn't quite fit in the list....

Sony put a scaler in there. But there seems to be one main difference between the 360 scaler and the ps3 scaler. the 360 scaler works by itself. so, if the developer makes a game that supports 720p they don't have to write additional code in order for the 360 to scale it up to 1080p. however, since sony did not put this into their operating system, developers have to code for the scaler themselves because it is (right now) only a horizontal scaler.

i'm just saying that the article misquoted... and to jin, retailer do "buy" the unit and then resell them (that's why its a suggested reSALE value because they were bought by the retailer and then the retailer sells them.) If that retailer then has them in storage at a warehouse... then sure that's fine. But to the parent company (nintendo, sony, microsoft) these are units that they "sold" because ...
the article is a misquote, they said "sold" at CES... please don't post something from Jan 8...
and yes, when they said sold they meant to retailers. But that is still different than shipped. shipped would mean that the boxes left the factory (and could be in a warehouse somewhere) while "sold" means that they were delivered to retailers.
i hope you said the same thing when Sony announced the ps2 slimline... because its basically the same type of upgrade... ie, better hardware, more advanced support (remember how the slim line had built in IR and ethernet?)
but its still a rumor and we'll see what happens in the next year.

I think epic purposes didn't announce UT 2007 for 360... epic fans and unreal fans may have put off gears and just waited for UT... with their knowledge of the 360 it wouldn't surprise me if they brought that over (or announced it in the next few months)

halo 3 doesn't come on the crackdown disk??? well... DERRRRR... plus, its a beta and will have many many updates throughout the beta cycle.... which of course requires space to be downloaded to
and to karibu, microsoft isn't screwing anyone over... its a beta and its a privaledge, not a right, you won't need the harddrive to play the retail version when that comes out, so stfu
I was just thinking about this... and if it was true this is the reason they might do it....
if they release this on a new xbox 360 they may beable to get away with not packaging hdmi cables and keep the cost of sales low but they could still release hdmi cables for original users (that work on the standard output)
my problem with this mod is that there is no output for optical cables, which is what i prefer to use. it seems you'd have to have your normal connec...
but i don't think that many people expected the 360 to continuously sell more than 1000 each week let alone 5000 and it has for the past 2 months. The other thing I don't think people expected was the severe drop off that the ps3 has experienced.
