i remember this survey, it was structured in a way that made it difficult to vote having it not happen so i never voted... if this happened to a lot of people than that's why its so skewed
installed the patch and everything works beautifully now... awesome!
it does suck that it doesn't work... but universal is not the only studio to support hd-dvd.. they are the only studio to exclusively to support it... warner, parament, and some others all support both bluray and hd-dvd
this happens from time to time though, there may be a firmware upgrade needed for it... i think this has happened to bluray once before too.. when "click" came out it didn't work on all units either because of the formatting but a firmware patch fixed ...
cool... the skipping really bugged me (so i actually sent mine in for repairs and they sent me a new one) looks like it was just a firmware thing.
looks worse than the 360 version... which looked really bad... i have this game and have enjoyed it (although still haven't beaten it) but graphically very weak..
doesn't supply have to do with that? i mean... the wii would have sold way over a million if there had been more available, same with the 360... the ps3 had the largest available stock for its release in Europe

so dj... i'm confused, typically you support the ps3 almost blindly, but with that statement you kinda say that the xbox 360 may beable to move data around its motherboard faster because it loads tony hawk faster... i'm not saying it does, i'm just a little confused by what you are arguing.
it may not have been xbox related, but after using some mobile browsers, that looks really cool... i won't be getting a smart phone until my current contract expires, but that feature definitely makes me want to get windows mobile and not iphone.
i only own one and would never own 2 because that would mean setting up another account for the other 360... in which case this is a moot point anyhow, because you just redownload the movies from the account that isn't for gaming...
this article is a waste of space... very few people have 2 drives and even fewer will want to go from 120 -> 20 gb
yea that would be a huge upset and would never happen... microsoft would have to effectively buy square and konami for that to happen, which i doubt has/will ever happen. I think its maybe Cry-On and whatever Peter Jackson has been working on
while i don't doubt that they will get to 1080p, it kinda seemed like he dodged actually confirming that sigma will be there... i'm sure it will, but it seems like he used an odd choice of words. maybe i just wanted a "ninja gaiden sigma will run at 60 fps at 1080p"

xbox 360 is selling more currently than the ps3, that's a fact, if you look at the NPD numbers for the past 5 months it has sold more each month.
going back to the flipflopper thing, when the ps3 first launched stateside it only launched with around 200,000 units, which was half what Sony said the launch would be and almost half what the 360 launched with. However, in December Sony got its act together and shipped out a total of a million and was able to sell about another ha...
but.... wasn't the xbox 360 supply constrained at this time last year??
ps3 may be selling slightly faster overall (although the february figures were lower) from the same time last year, but the supply problems aren't the same and they are just now selling in europe... its like comparing apples and oranges.
