Can someone tell me what's so good about Uncharted 2 apart from graphics?
When I played it I thought it was just a standard third person shooter with platforming.
Iv'e played at least 10 games on PS3 which I think are better.
GOW3 did not use the same engine as GOW2
GOW3 did not cost $139NZ
GOW3 gameplay was the same as previous GOW games but GOW3 did not seem like it was milking the gamer for every cent they have.
Black Ops. Ok, so its got a huge following but if we continue to reward developers for charging higher than the norm for rehashes of previous releases they'll keep doing it.
As soon as both games are released on both consoles we'll have this debate. Until then its pointless...except for fueling fanboy ranting.
More GT5 bashing. Never before has such a solid game been bashed so much just because its not multiplatform.
Seems like anyone will use anything GT related to support their message of doom and gloom.
GT PSP is brilliant and is easily the best driving simulator on the PSP.
Any true gamer knows that GT5 features a few flaws but they are easy to get over for now. I do 100% agree with the review that the on-line lobby needs some work to give it some legs to ensure enough people are still playing on-line in the years to come.
I would really love some country level stats so we can compare the top drivers from one country to those of another.
Finally, I would love the addition of time trials to determine where you start on the grid....

I do hope they patch on-line so we can have country against country (i.e. average times, best times, etc) and you can bet on races or at least earn some winnings.
If you have a 360 get Forza.
If you have a PS3 then get GT.
If you own both then you get to enjoy both.
Tried my first on-line game this morning...brilliant. loving this game even more the more I play.
In my opinion, God of war 3 is the most disappointing.
The story of the game was terrible and there was little
weapon variety.
But the main problem was the game length, Part 2 took me 20 hours to complete on normal while part 3 took me 12 hours on hard mode.
It was still good but no where near as good as part 2(In my opinion).
The only game I can recall that didn't have the jaggy shadows is Killzone 2. First time I noticed the jaggy shadows was back in COD4.
They are off putting which is why I probably won't use the cockpit view all that much.
Don't you buy a device based on the software and functionality it provides?

...is a move style glove like they use on motion tracking for movies and games. Imagine an oblivion style game that could track precise finger movements and gestures.

Not in all cases however, the patches for GT5 have added a great deal of new functionality. Most patches fix bugs, GT5 patches could almost be considered DLC. 1.05 is a great example of how the game is being improved.
The IGN review definitely no longer applies to the game as it stands today. If they wanted to show the gaming community just how professional they are they might do a re-review but I doubt they will.
