The weapon upgrades sound great. At first look this seemed a bit many but it comes off as more fun that than.
I can see their point of view - it makes sense to see the desert in day from an ambience pov - graveyards at night are better (if Tristram is at night or dusk that is).
Looking forward to hearing how you get on in the next area.
LAN gaming on a larger scale is problematic however, due to the connection required for so many players. Convention halls will probably have no problem but if you're using a hotel then a net (constant, reliable) connection for 400 gamers could throw up problems that may not be apparent until the tournies are underway.
I understand why Blizzard are doing it however but it is not without impact on legit players.
As adsaidler said LAN gaming is lots more fun that onli...
Be difficult to have a borg ship as there's no bridge. You'd need some way to interface with it.
Cool. Encouraging that they are still considering updating all this for Europe too.
Wisp class? mmm, now there's a challenge.
I see things like "Stealth Bombers can fit and use a covert ops cloak allowing them to warp whilst cloaked. " and it makes me want to play this but I hear it's a beast of an in-depth time sink and I don't have the will power.
They're not talent trees and they're not based on the WoW talent trees either. Did any of these people play Diablo 2?
Well done Blizzard marketing department. What's a chotchkle? There's a cat for that.
As long as it works 100% when it's finally released......
The Rampage titles aren't my thing but It'd be interesting to see what a team with the resources available to Blizzard could do with a shooter.
Funny thing to name your awards.
Yeah, the patch notes are pretty extensive. Over 50 new quests, 9 chapters and 4 instances and a whole new faction. Loadsa other stuff too.
Perhaps they were shrewd letting Blizzard test the market for Taiwan before they lept in.
Art style is varied, not sure I like it.
I hope it was their egos and they opened far too many servers to begin with. I wouldn't like it to fail. We want more MMOs with decent communities, not less. If it were just WoW that would be very bad for MMO gamers.
I doubt it. It's all money in the bank.
It absolutely has to feel right too. I wouldn't expect a full-on flight sim but the pyhsics would need to be believable for it not to be cheesy.
I remember reading that and it really doesn't seem like that long ago. Time flying.
“where is the system in Diablo III that allows us to make base weapons more powerful? That’s a question that will have to be answered at a later time.”
Blizzard love to tease with stuff like that.
