Glad I have an 80GB PS3. I know it isn't the end-all-be-all, but I like being able to play some of the more awesome games from the PS2 and PS1.
My 80GB has played every PS2 game I have tried.

If you only own a PS3 then you are missing out on great games like Gears of War 2. And I tell my 360-only friends the same thing about not owning a PS3 and not getting to play games like Killzone 2.
Uh...have you compared any recent multiplats on both machines? Probably not, because you probably only have a PS3. But anyway, I have both and I can tell you that lots of recent games--like COD 5, Fallout 3, Prince of Persia, Mirror's Edge--all looked better on the 360 than the PS3.
Killzone 2 blows away MGS4 in graphics. I don't get why people think MGS4 is a highwater mark in graphics or anything. I have the game and I personally think Uncharted and Gears 2 look better than MGS4.

Well, you have to admit that there is a difference between mandatory PARTIAL installs and optional full installs.
I agree that it is no big deal. I just despise the kind of hypocrisy of people who say mandatory installs are no big deal, but that multi-disc games are bad (even though only a very, very small number of Xbox 360 games require multiple discs). Neither situation is a big deal.
I have a PS3 and I already have this game preordered. I can't wait.
I will say the same thing to you guys, though: you really should get a 360 to play Gears 2. It is a seriously awesome game and I think you all would like it if you could get over your fanboyism and just start liking games, instead of battling for only one side.

I haven't found Gears 2 to be buggy. I have mostly played single player, but still, I suspect this issue has been exaggerated.
You can't play every 360 exclusive. Some of the best exclusives, like Gears of War 2 and Fable 2, can only be played on the Xbox 360.
But we all knew that was just an excuse anyway, so carry on.
Baseballkid, you're full of it. Most of those games can't be played on the PC. Besides, I don't care if a few of those games can be played on the PC. My PC is fine for doing lots of things, but it couldn't come close to running most of these games at a quality and stability level comparable to that which I get on my 360.

All I know is that I have a PS3 and a 360 and there is no way in hell that I would be satisfied only playing on my PS3. I would miss out on too many good games and would miss out on my Xbox LIVE friends and the gaming and community that it offers.
The 360 has lots of great exclusives. And even if you have a gaming rig--which, let's be honest, most of us don't--there are still quite a few must-have exclusives that can't be found on the PC.

Gears 2 has much better textures and details, just as solid of a framerate (I have no idea what you are talking about), sharper image quality (Gears 2 runs at 720P, while MGS4 runs at 3/4 the resolution), bigger scale and better anti-aliasing (I hate all the jaggies on shadows in MGS4).
