Square was generally good last-gen.
FFX, is in fact, my favorite FF of all time. X-2 was horrible cash-cow garbage.
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time was my favorite PS2 game. PERIOD.
DQVIII was incredible (Level 5 = White Knight, take a hint peeps!)
KH, KH2...goes without saying
Grandia 3 was surprisingly uber too!
And yeah, I played The Bouncer for a long period of time. Fun game.

In all honesty, who cares? Yes, I too would have liked to play the game on ONE disc on the PS3, but Square's doing three discs and putting me on my 360 come March 3, 2009.
Hey, if Square wants to keep the game 360 exclusive, continue to piss off their fanbase and pay extra royalties on multiple discs, it's their business. Mine is just buying the game....

What was wrong with it, you ask? The plot twist near the end of the "virtual-Reality" life Fayt and company were living was total horse crap! Other than that, awesome game! Terrific side quests and killer fun story that never took itself too seriously.

so I can't say for sure. HOWEVER, based on those vids, the 360 version seriously does some a$$ kicking with this one. Ground textures are flat and uninteresting on PS3. Colors are washed out on Sony's console. Everything runs well, but PoP is looking like a 360 purchase.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves Sony fans. Look, websites seeeeeeeem to love it (we all know what happened to Lair when they seeeeeemed to love it too) and let's face it, the first Killzone even after hitting Greatest Hits sold 2 million copies. 1) The Wii is unstoppable, and it's a shame. The shovelware console that's basically giving devs the free excuse to just release garbage and still get sales is really starting to affect the gaming industry in the wrong way (good example: Ubisoft)
2) Hells Yeah! to the XBOX360's sales! Microsoft does deserve it, they've worked hard advertising the all hell outta the box, but with all the price cuts and the new manditory installs coming, and the fact most of those sales were the ...

Seriously, why can't they learn to spread these things out? Man, how am I supposed to play both consistently?....oh, why the hell am I complaining. So happy this game is living up to the hype, can't wait! Loved Killzone back on PS2, and now I won't have to put up with the framerate/terrible melee issues with this one. Beta was fun, and I can't wait to start getting my MP classes expanded and start using the cover in the single player. Should be killer!
Pretty and no depth. I have no idea where some of these 9/10s were coming from. IGN dropped the ball on this one big time. Big let down imo.
This game reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy XII. However, with better characters, a funner story and a system that promotes actual play, rather than just watching (gambits), this game SHOULD be the real deal.
