You've made many valid points such as people using religion to control the minds of the masses and to cause war etc.

But think about this. What if religion was real but only that specific "person" was using it to his advantage? Therefore it makes religion innocent and the evil and wrongdoings were by that person, not the religion.

I'm convinced that us, human beings, must have a more significant reason for our existence. I cannot accept that we were simply ...

I can understand the feelings of a christian. I've noticed the amount of Jesus jokes in America especially. And I can see how a lot of christian theology used in games/films in ways that would seem very rude disgusting or even blasphemous to them.

To be honest, I dunno whether to ignore them or sympathise with them. But I do understand where they're coming from.

But as usual, the users of this site are selfish immature little kids who comment rude remarks that are un...

Baka-akaB, I completely agree with you that there are some fanboy nerds here who jump at any opportunity to bash Sony or the PS3.

But let us disregard any of their pathetic attempts and talk seriously here.

The thing about the Slim is that it came without OtherOS, so it was sold with a list of features that did not include it. That's completely fine! This is not wrong in any way, because it is up to the buyer to decide whether to purchase this product or not.

A very naive consumer you are my good Sir.

Companies like MS and Sony etc aim to maximise profit. Of course, it is normal for a business to want to do so.

But what we cannot allow is for business to either: Monopolise the market, overprice their products and services, remove freedoms and rights, break the law.

Sony has done 2 of the above. They are in breach of EU Law and they are removing the right of users to use their rightly purchased product in the ...

UnwanteDreamz, Using pages of small script in the TOS is the oldest trick in the book. Nobody reads them because nobody is bothered.

BUT, some countries do recognise this technique and have made laws that you cannot use this to trick customers out of their rights nor can you make people agree with you breaking the law.

Like for example, A Jewish merchant decides to make you sign a contract that if you don't pay him back the money you owe him, he will get a pound of y...

lol, wait till someone with guts and cash decides to take Sony to court for this.

The irony is that if Sony loses and the court demands them to accept refunds, the loss Sony makes will almost be negligeable.

Sony removed OtherOS for scare of piracy. But hardly anyone would be bothered to download over 15gb for a game.

well, here you have it loyalists, there's EU law stating you cannot remove features of a product that you have paid for.

You guys may not care about the removal (well actually you are just being loyal fanboys), but there are others who do.

Can't you stop being selfish for a couple of seconds and try to look at it from their point of view? Sony isn't even paying you to be loyal to them.

LOL, we all knew this would happen.

Just we didn't think it would be confirmed via the dashboard.

Exactly, getting 8/10 from Edge is like IGN, GS or GT giving it a 9+

Luckily, I'm getting it on 360. I feel bad for the PC owners though. DRM is a b1tch.

This game is looking to be amazing!

LOL, lokiroo420, that was exactly what I thought when I read Biggest's comment.

Yes, both Uncharted 2 and God of War III used exactly the same bipeds during both gameplay and cutscenes.

As for the loading times, they've been cleverly hidden during gameplay sessions and cutscenes.

yeah MGS4 cutscenes were pretty much real-time scripted events happening in-game.

I'm guessin the reason why they are using video files rather than real-time is because they would want to run the cinematics in good framerate. The amount of detail and stuff happening would probably cause significant slow downs.

So, most probably a PC is used to record the cutscenes. A bit dissapointing to know but at least it won't spoil the overall experience.
