They've told us numerous times that this is a spinoff. That's why they are focusing on newcomers. If you had a couple of braincells you'd understand that means storywise it won't be so heavily focused on the previous games like MGS4 was.

Better than God of War 3 boxart. I wanted them to keep the artistic cover style from Gow1 and Gow2. But then they decided for a CG eye for Gow3's boxart.

AC2 didn't end stupidly.
It was purposely set up as a WTF type ending and the game's writers were always planning for the story to go in the direction it took.
I for one loved AC2's ending and how it broke the fourth wall.

The game isn't out yet and we only saw a couple of minutes of footage which won't even appear in the final game.
The producer even said they made that demo in the trailer just to give an brief idea of the game to people.
The irony is, the haters would have a completely different view if it wasn't multiplatform lol.
