In my opinion, even if it was just 4 hours, Portal is one of the best games I've ever played.

I did like him in MGS2. Especially how his character was portrayed in the story. This time we see Solid Snake from a 3rd person view.
Most people jump on the "Raiden is a whiney bitch" bandwagon but he wasn't that much whiney in MGS2.
And nobody can complain about him in MGS4 since they completely took the "whininess" out of him there.
And I think he is even less in Rising since he seems to be act a lot less human than...
