I loved the past Animal Crossings, but I think I've grown out of them a bit, so I don't plan on purchasing them. I do plan on purchasing Wii Speak though.

I was looking at some recent videos IGN posted up, and the online looks really, really fun. I mean, I was planning on buying the Wii version of this game from the beginning, but just by the way the gameplay looks hypes me up.

I'm sorry, but I really don't think the 5 stars rating score is accurate, at all. I mean, this four out of five could cross over to being a 9.4 out of 10, but since it's only out of 5, it comes off as an 8.0.
Famitsu also gave Lair and Haze great scores, so I wouldn't put them over IGN, but that's just me.
I own all three consoles, and although I like them all, I would love to see more core games come to Wii. I'm picking up Call of Duty: World at War for Wii instead of PS3 or 360, because after playing the beta for 360, I feel as if I already own the game. (call of duty 2)

I'd love to see more games that are on PS3 and 360 be brought to Wii, with at least a simultaneous release, and I understand that it would be a down grade, but at least try. There are more core Wii owners then you think.

Wii is the least core, I can accept that, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have core merits. Why do you people even bother trashing Wii? You only contradict yourself, because when a decent looking core game is announced for Wii, everyone jumps in to comment that it should be for 360 or PS3 instead.

I have to admit I think the same thing. Although I know there is going to be some cool gun play and such, all EA is releasing is trailers of just running around and jumping buildings. It was just plain awesome at first, but really, after that being the only thing I've seen from this game, I don't know if running around and jumping buildings is worth my sixty bucks.

I've never transferred anything to my SD card yet, so I don't know the average speed it was before the update. But considering the size of the game, that was very quick.
