Most precious relic. Ooooh kay.
Interesting point. I'd almost think they have to. Or at least start when things start falling apart and cover the downfall of Rapture.
@ Nacho
For movies, I think it’s very difficult to cram he narrative from a 10+ hour game into 2 hours. I think that’s why series are much better suited for video game adaptations. Seems we have a bunch coming up, so we’ll see how well it plays out.
How many have they done? It sounds like Witcher and Castlevania have done well.
I don't think the bugged side quest I can't complete was listed. Damn.
Bummed to not see anything about Athletics skill. Progression seems to painfully slow for that.
"Successfully romancing someone will let you stay in their apartment as a safe house, too." I thought that was already in the game.
I'll have to check out the video when I get home. It's interesting that they have a separate video for Xbox and PS5. Were there any differences noted?
And hopefully a slew of bug fixes across all platforms. I really want to finish the last side quest I have out there.
I don't remember that in their videos, but I checked out the article written by Richard and sure enough he said it. I would have thought it was John since he LOVES motion blur.
I can’t believe not being able to climb everything is seen as a negative. If there’s nothing to climb to, then why should anyone want to climb it? The world is probably already quite large enough as it is. No point wasting time trying to reach somewhere that either has nothing or the devs are forced to flood the map with more collectibles to give purpose to climbing everywhere.
ESPECIALLY in the context of what happened in the game world that was explained in the last game.
That's a good point. I almost never get expansion DLC stuff anymore. They're often so underwhelming and content for the price is usually a pretty poor ratio compared to the main game. About the only time I do get the DLC is if I'm buying the super, mega, deluxe edition of something for the extras and it comes with the season pass anyway.
" but bet your sweet ass that the new Bungie IP will absolutely not be on Xbox systems."
Bungie themselves confirmed up front they're staying multiplat
For me, this has nothing to do with it. The way Bethesda has been the last few years is what has me worried. it frightens me that people are so willing to ignore all the BS they've been trying to pull the last few years and buy into the hype of a new game from them.
With their Gamepass subs, it just might have more downloads and players than any sales prior to the buyout, but a download certainly isn't equal to a sale, and a lot of those downloads aren't going to be sticking it out long term. It'll be a demo for them.
It isn't just Destiny 2 though, they have confirmed they will remain multiplat, even on their new projects.

"What exactly is he spinning? Halo has 20 million player and Forza has 18 million"
HAD, not has.
Steam numbers for FH5 alone have dropped a lot from a high of 80k and has 11,700 so far today. FH4 has almost 13k today.
"Sorry, but Phil's words here ring hollow."
Especially since the player counts seem to have dropped quite a bit. FH4 has been having a higher 24 hour player count on Steam than FH5 for a couple weeks now (usually seeing like 16k vs 18k). Granted, that says nothing about what's happening on Xbox itself, but the decline is probably happening there as well. I've seen people saying its' taking longer to get a match going and it used to be I'd se...
Which system? When I watched those platform comparison videos yesterday, it didn't seem like it did anything on Xbox, but on PS5 (both modes) the shadows looked different.
Also, be aware it's ray traced local shadows that were added, so you're probably not going to notice much.
