Watch them just continue to ignore the issue and add the game to Vita instead.
Sounds like a Telltale Borderlands sequel won't be happening.
The graphics for Walking Dead Final Season look to have been upgraded. Not sure how it runs though.
I would think they'll always have unannounced exclusives simply due to how many studios they have and they're not going to announce stuff right when they start working on something. Example, Guerrilla Games is working on something we don't know about. Once Spider Man is done, Insomniac will be working on something. etc...
He said consoles, plural, so I'm guessing they'll have a base streaming box and then a normal console as well.
Who are these outraged critics? While I'm sure you're right that NG won't be phased by any that does exist, the headline makes it sound like it's coming from NG.
I saw someone suggest a black and white mode to be more like a Kurosawa movie. Or black, white, and red.
You can't do VATS with multiple players.
I'm not even sure there will be a story or quests.
Did you watch the same presentation I did? The same Fallout that won't have VATS? No NPCs, dealing with random assholes online instead of taking my time, no hint of a story and pausing for a couple minutes when I want?
I understand some people like this kind of thing, but why turn Fallout in to this? Make something different instead.
There's a 4th now? I know of Metro, Days Gone, and Anthem.
@Monolith
You can play on your own, as in no friends, but being entirely online it would seem all the other people in the game will still be controlled by real people. Of course they didn't make it very clear, but I think when they said "entirely online" is very telling.
@Kados
and no VATS
Nope. I'm out.
Yeah. It wasn't great for Xbox, but I was entertained. Saw a lot of new stuff and that's what I enjoy about E3, not all this crap leaked out in the weeks leading up to it. Maybe I had my expectations destroyed by watching EA's show yesterday.
Kind of surprised I didn't see any mention of exclusivity for Ori.
Some MS guy was on the youtube @ E3 after the show (I think it was Aaron Greenberg). I was half listening but I think Geoff said something about Forza being the only exclusive for this year or holiday season and Aaron was reasoning that it was already pretty stacked with stuff like RDR2 that they're ok with skipping it.
Funny thing is, Feb 22nd is looking completely over loaded (Metro, Anthem, and Days Gone) and I saw a game for March 9th. Spring is looking more crowded than ...
Agreed. Kaz Hirai CEO on Twitter (fake account) called it the PS4 3rd party game preview event.
edit: to be fair, it does seem like they're setting themselves up for the future.
Prepare to be unsurprised.

It isn't a loot box if you call it something else.
I think they both did a good job. They just took drastically different approaches. MS went heavy with 3rd party stuff and only a few true exclusives while Sony went heavy on the exclusives and bizarrely did a venue switch after the first game shown.
