stop making PS3's. Try to sell what they have left, and get ready for the next round in 2011 anf come out fighting with a powerful (yet modestly priced) next gen system ready to battle the Xbox 720!

M$ have been outseeling the PS3 since the price cut, and the poor economy has stiffed the ps3's sales...
This gen ends in 2010 or 2011 when the Xbox 720 gets released.
The ps3 might overtake the 360 post 2011, but who will care?
Only the noobs that are still playing on their ps2's now!
Because they'll all be bying and playing old-gen games on their ps3 when Xbox's are playing next-gen games on 720...
Why?
Yes - they make their real money on LIVE, software and accessories.
But come on!
By reducing the price of the Xbox 360 so low they appear DESPERATE. They did the same thing last gen with the Xbox 1. They reduced the price so fast, and so often, that they were and are virtually ging them away.
Why can't they leanr to make money on LIVE, software, accessories, AND hardware>!?

Xbox 360 is at an all time high thanks to its price cut.
The ps3 (or should i say ps1.3) Pad is inferior to the Xbox 360 pad!
Sony are unwilling (or unable) to correctly prosition (offset) the analogue sticks.
What we need is an adaptor to allow me to to use my 360 pad on my ps3!
nVidia created the GPU for the original XBox.
They had a falling out with M$ when they refused to passs on savings on Chip design...
One of the reasons Xbox 1 loast so much money for M$.
Strangely, nVidia were in talks with M$ to create the 360 GPU which would have been totally compatible with the orginal Xbox.
Now, talks have stanrted again with nVidia about creating the chips needed for the Xbox 720.
IF nVidia get the contract, we...
1. Decent hardware.
2. Standard laptop hard drives.
- exclusive on PC and Xbox 360...
M$ would love to give gamers BC with Xbox 1 and can't - not totally, because of the troubles with nVidia...

Personally, i don't care about PS1 and PS2 games, they are virtually unplayable these days where they have dated so much. There is the odd game or two i'd love to play on my PS3 though...
Xbox 1 because its a little more powerful than the PS2 has faired better. Many of the games on that system are horrb...

After Halo1 the series has crashed. I don't care what the reviews say, the sequels are adverage at best. Everything that made the original is gone.
