You know what I would like the PS4 to look like?
The PS1. I love that gray consoel with the flip-up 90's CD-player lid.
I'd love a retro looking console look for the PS4. All the power and innovation of the PS4 in a PS1 era case.
I'm interested in DOOM 4, wouldn't say I'm excited for it. I'm more of a Quake man, myself. i KNOW Quake 4 isn't considered a masterpiece by any means, but I really enjoyed playing it, and for a 360 launch game - the graphcis kicked ass!
The muli-coloured suit is looking more and more childish as Nintendo consoles improve.
I know its classic, but sometimes you have to move with the times.
Not interested in these exclusives. But I applaud Sony for investing in behalf of their loyal fans.

I loved the original back in the day. I found the game really hard though - I was still playing it when the second came and went. I remember really loving 3 as well. They are the only two I brought.
I think i'll be picking up the reboot though - haven't made my mind up yet, need to hear and see more. I hope they release a demo...
I'm still not convinced that the Wii U will get third party support.
I think the PS4 and 720 will be so powerful, it will make the Wii U too weak to easily port to.
The Wii U will work for a few years while most transition to next generation consoles, but then I foresee developer support drying up.
The Wii U just ISN'T POWERFUL ENOUGH. Not to last 6 years again the 720 and PS4 anyway.

I killed 6 people before I ever played a video game. Since Playing COD every night I haven't killed anyone. Why? Violent video games are an outlet for my pent-up anger-rage issues with my daddy.
Being a Nintendo fan for me is like being in an abused relationship.
I hate Nintendo for chasing the casuals, inventing the name 'Wii' creating a handle on the back of the gamecube etc...
But yet I can't leave them. They bring me the same sweet, sweet games every gen - games I need. Games I can't get anywhere else. And then there are the memories form years past, the good ol days when Nintendo was a caring company that loved me and my fell...
Condemned had me squealing like a little girl. I was shocked into dropping my pad once, broke my sholder button... Good times.
I enjoy reading the sales figures, I really want Sony to release WW figures so I compare them to the 360's 66 million.
As it stands, it really is impossible to get an accurate picture of which console is truly leading and by how much - what with US numbers, Europe, japan... different sites, estimates, shipped, sold, lost...

The pad looks SOOOoooo uncomfortable.
HOWEVER - its Nintendo, so you KNOW it will feel good. Also, being Nintendo , you know it will look cheap and childish - which it does.
Only if the 720 doesn't show up.
If it does, the next xbox will make the WiiU look like a Gamecube in comparision!
M$ said that at the end of 2011 they had sold 66 Million 360's world wide.

Why would M$ NOT be worried about the WiiU?
The WiiU might be an underpowered next-gen console or a very powerful current gen console. Depends on how you look at it.
But the fact is, Nintendo are still in direct competition with M$ and Sony. If Ninty can flog a weak-ass console (Wii/WiiU) and make a ton of proffit at day one while M$ and Sony sink Billions into super-powered consoles that loose money for the first few years - more power to them!
I prefer Sony's approach. I like ton know how much i'm being overcharged.
M$ should junk M$ points ASAP.
