Sony's greed destroyed the PSPGO.
If the games had been cheaper, and have come out on the same day (or before) retail, I would have brought one. I have no problem with a digital future, it just has to be done right.
I feel so depressed. I brought a 360 in 2005. It feels so old right now. I was really counting on new hardware...
Is Sony too amazing? YES. Yes they are!
Is M$ a bunch of money-grabbing, back-stabbing scumbags than couldn't care less for their core audience anymore?
Probably?
I didn't find it funny at all. I was more interested in how they managed to recreate the death star corridor on a budget.
April Ryan - love that character!
Love the Longest Journey.
The 16-bit era consoles were mainly for kids and teenagers.
Nintendo want the WiiU to appeal to casuals, moms, grandparents, etc...
Unlike the 90's Nintendo can't reply on kids to tell their parants what a SNES is and that they want one. In order to grab all the worlds attention like they did with the Wii, Nintendo need to clearly show that the WiiU is not another Wii SKU.
Thus a rebranding is ESSENTIAL at this E3 in my opinion.
I wish I could play Star wars Kinect with a pad.
The gmae controls appear really dumbed down, I see lag. And it looks really repetitive. Hack, hack, hack, jump, hack, force push etc...
Where is the depth?
Can you even walk around freely, explore the world, do anything other than hack, hack, hack...?
God, wish I could play KOTOR 3
WiiU/720/PS4
Microsoft won't let them.
Its xbox policy to ban a game from appearing on 360 if the PS3 version has more/better content.
I had 7 360's die on me for various issues. (For those who will ask-why stick with M$? Simple, I'm heavily invested with the software. I'm stuck with M$ until next gen when all bets are off)I brought a 360 S in 2010 and so far its working ok. After reading this article though, and hearing recently from my friend that his Slim has a broken disc drive, i've really started to worry again. I thought I was safe with the 360 S. I tell you this: If my S dies I'm not buying anothe...
I'm not buying.
I want classic Max Payne.
Dark, Film Noire - night time wintery setting in NY.
Not bald, fat, sunny Island setting.
Price isn't an issue with me. I will happily pay £600 for a console that will last me 7-10 years until the next one comes out - provided it is SUPER POWERFUL and quality built.
I want 4GB of RAM for example. I want a console that that will not only wow me in 2013, but keep me stunned in 2020.
I hope this is true!
Call it the Revolution. Or the Nintendo DS Home Entetainment system.
And it should be black instead of white. Need to show the casuals that this is something different...
If that GPU is in the 720 then I'm not buying the console. I'll wait to see what Sony do with the PS4. If that isn't a huge leap forward I'll buy myself a gaming PC.
Something I've been thinking about recently...
Do you think Sony will release PS3 Slim?
I mean a REAL slim, the way the PS1&2 were?
The current PS3 is really, in my mind, what the launch PS3 should have been. The PS3, while great, launched with things not really needed, and was WAY too big. I feel like the current version is what the launch version would have been if it hadn't been rushed to combat the 360's initial ever widening lead....
M$ are a joke in Japan. Why are they still even bothering?
M$ better not do a WW launch with the 720 like they did the 360. Gamers in Europe were going hungry while the japs let their 360's mount up in unbrought piles.
If M$ decide to release the 720 over there, they should launch 6 months to a year later.Take care of America and Europe first. Make sure that everyone that wants one can get one.
IF true, theat won't be powerful enough. Not in 2013 - not to get us through another 7+ years of gaming innovation.
'This deal's getting worse all the time' - Lando Calrissian.
I never brought a 3DS thank god. The lack of tow control sticks annoyed the hell out of me.
I refuse to buy Nintendo handhelds anymore. They don't offer me value for money the way Sony do. I buy a PSV - I know I've got a good 6+ years right there. I buy a Nintendo handheld, I expect it to be replaced with a another model every year. I'm waiting to see the two stick 3DS, then the lite, and so on.
Sony get their stuff together DAY ONE.
Whether Microsoft or Sony want to admit it or not, they are in direct competition with Nintendo. They all make consoles, and they all compete for the same marketshare. Congratualtions Microsoft - you just gave the competition a years head start. Enjoy last place next gen.
