hard for 360 fanatics to accept, chastizing other 360 gamers simply because they aren't close minded like themselves and a slaves to MS.

Owning multiple consoles it makes sense to say, "hey console A is louder than console B". It's called a reference point. But instead of accepting common sense, fanboys take it as an attack on their system. "no, we can't just be happy with our system we have to defend it even if it's true that other systems are quieter.." ...

Some devs may be better at one console than another, this you will see. You will also see a game developed for one console then ported to another, which may suffer in the porting process. This does not mean the port crappier due to inferior hardware.

"Just 24 hours ago the IGN team stormed the Activision press event in beautiful Lost Angeles California, and while we knew Call of Duty 3 would be making an appearance at the event, we didn't quite know to what extent. Sure the game would be playable, but the details were still up in the air. As the obvious flagship title for Activision, Call of Duty 3 was the hot tit...

I bought an xbox however when I bought my xbox I didn't abandoned my PS2. That's just the fanboy talk. GAMERS, yes GAMERS do game on more than one console ;)

Just like buying a PS3 doesn't mean I'm abandoning my 360. Again being a GAMER rather than a fanboy, the world is much larger :)

It wouldn't suprise me if they were developing for the 360 first and porting over to the PS3. If that was the case, ports alwys have a chance of suffering in the process.

If it was built for both at the same time though then I'd have to go with Milkman's post

"This is good news for both consoles actually because you can see here that both consoles can actually support the same power but in different ways useing there own strong points within the console. ...

If the A.I. is lacking it isn't due to either system, just simply due to the developers.

And something TopGamer forgot to mention is yes you do need a HDD if you plan on having access to every 360 game. Some games require it, that is a simple fact.

$299 CORE system is a joke, it's not a suprise that major websites and most xbox360 fans called it the 360 Tard pack. It isn't fully functional.

These are the FACTS as I've stated before:

You can't save games ($40 MRSP for MS memory card, $100 MSRP for 20GB HDD)

It doesn't...

Good work shadowgamer in laying down reality!

It doesn't play every xbox360 game either. It is very crippled.

Just say no to the CORE, the premium is the way to go.

The $499 PS3 has everything you need to play from the get go (20GB HDD included).

1.Motorstorm
2.Devil May Cry 4
3.Assassin's Creed (not sure what platform yet)
4.Resistance: Fall of Man
5.Virtua Fighter 5

Yes, for me it's games first and foremost. I am excited about blu-ray movies and will pick up some SACD's as well :)

I may pick up this game as well, but Gears is higher on my priority list (just after Lost Planet).

60FPS is a good thing though.

Back to your fanboy ranting ;)

in regards to the basketball game. That was clear from the article. Other aspects according to the Developer (not me) are due to the hardware. I'm not sure why that is so confusing for you.

Bottom line I'm just reporting what the dev said, that is all.

Like TopGamer said, comparisons will be made when both are actually out. If it turns out the dev was wrong so be it, complain to them for misleading people, not me.

Out of bubbles. That is all.

gave you some facts from an MS employee. Personally I don't hold grudges, but based on previous comments about you not normally responding to me when I presented facts. If you've changed your mind, very cool :)

Pardon me if I don't take your word for it based off your posting history of obviously being highly biased towards the 360 and highly biased against the PS3.

I have no idea what his previous account was, I personally don't care. Not my problem. Just sticking ...

"Visually, the game has been taken up to a new level, particularly in how the game action is rendered. Not only have the in-game visuals been beefed up thanks to the power of the system, but according to Thomas, the way the PS3 renders pixels gives the game a richer appearance than the 360 version. It looks much more organic and lifelike, and if you thought you were watching a real game on the 360, just wait till you see it on the PS3."

Funny how others try to spin what developers have said about the game. Just screams insecurity..

same will go with the Nintendo online games

Half the time they don't have a clue about their own product. Just read one many quotes from Peter Moore.

Paid $50 for my 360's warranty and will definitely buy one for my PS3 as well.

The Wii, well I'm undecided on that..It's basically a gamecube with a new controller. COntroller may need a warranty though ;)
