it's very simple.
Master Chief takes down Kratos (oneshot with covenant snipe beam-rifle). Kratos tries to bring Microsoft to hell with himself. At that time all, pay your attention, ALL of the Covenant, UNSC, Gears (Marcus will tear those puny chains on Kratos hands like cloth with a mere Lancer), the Locust (yeah, they need a new game for their revenge on Marcus :D )...

The graphics are awesome for an RTS and missions are always different.
There are only 2 missions which are like "build your base, grow strong, kill the f#ckers!"
So much for milking Halo franchise.
Gears2 are fine now. I've resumed playing it after TU3 went live - no problems at all. The search time is quite good (keep in mind that I have moderate NAT) and never above 2min. The game stopped lagging so much like it did when no TUpdates were live yet. And I haven't seen any of the previous bugs working on TU3.
My opinion: the game is good to play now. no lags, fast searches, no bugs.

If you mean the 2nd one, the lol. play more on Annex-KotH setlist - you'll see how many times you'll get knocked down while you're running.
