The PS5 is the lead platform in the majority of games and Microsoft probably uses different APIs for example DirectX which may cause some difficulties.
The article claims the creator is using cartridges over emulators but I don't see how that is the case. How is he booting the Gameboy cartridges without emulation?.
The more accurate description would be to use cartridges over roms.
I got Dragon age inquisition and I am thinking of getting the mass effect collection.
This is a strange decision from the publisher since the original Sonic Generations is playable natively on the Xbox Series consoles. I thought they would do more to entice those gamers to buy the game on that platform.
I don't game with a wire connected to my controllers. It is too much of a hazard if someone trips over it and it may drag something that shouldn't be dragged. I also stay at least 10 feet away from my TV, it would be too cumbersome to use a cord at that distance. That is why I own more than 1 dual sense controllers.
I also see that you are intentionally trying to downplay the Xbox controller by mentioning AA batteries when I clearly mentioned that large capacity rec...
I agree with the annoying sounds they make. I think it is done intentionally because most controller reviews seem to grant extra points for clickyness.
That statement used to be true in the past but the dpad issue has been resolved with the series controller. It is not possible to comfortably play fighting games. Not sure what you mean by the rumble being bad because the Dual sense of the game doesn't support haptic feedback, the vibrations are inferior to the DS4 controller.
To this date, there has not been a game that supports the haptic feedback support we got from Astro's playroom.
You can't compare the dual-sense battery with the Xbox controller. By adding large-capacity rechargeable batteries inside, you will get a battery life that is significantly longer than the dual sense. In addition to that, if the battery in the Xbox controller dies you can swap it out with a full battery in a few seconds while with a Dual Sense, you will need to own multiple controllers to maintain long gaming sessions.
How can you complain about the Xbox controller's size and then praise the dual sense when they are almost the same size. The Dual sense is like maybe half an inch wider and it is hardly noticeable. Sometimes I even take up the Xbox controller to control the PlayStation by accident if I store it in the same place as the dual sense and it is only when I look down that I realize I have the wrong controller.
There is a major reason the Xbox controller and 3rd party look-alikes ...
This is great. Just a few days away.
These dlc character packs are one of the reasons I no longer buy fighting games at or near launch. I don't know why wants to play as ghost face but I am curious to see how T-1000 plays as he is my favorite Terminator.
Not a good month. Borderlands 3 often goes on sale for $9.99 or less. I thought Among Us was free but after doing research it is $4.99. Never been a fan of sports games.
My subscription lapsed after days of play and I can see I am not missing out on anything.
It appears the difficulty did not align with the player's expectations. If the game is too difficult for them, then playing another game is not a real answer since they spent money on the DLC. That would be like throwing money away. I am also assuming the people who are complaining about the difficulty also completed the original game.
If we lived in a perfect world, then refund options would be available to those players and they could simply move on to another game b...
I am skeptical since they are struggling with PS2 emulation.
It's disappointing that so many people chose to pick up the Series S over the Series X. I think the YouTubers should also share some of the blame. During the pandemic, retro gaming got a second wind and when it was revealed that you could use emulators on the series consoles, many YouTubers began promoting the console.
I got the Series X myself and tried emulation. The truth that no one wants to tell you is that the Xbox series consoles are the worst platform to emulat...
It was the other day I was thinking of picking up crash team racing because I like kart racers like Mario kart and Team Sonic Racing, but I was shocked to find out that Crash team racing is still 30 fps.
The problem with ray tracing is that it has to be exaggerated for you to notice it. When that happens it then breaks the realism. If it wasn't so demanding, I wouldn't mind it being there but on consoles if I have to choose 30 FPS with ray tracing vs 60 fps without then I will always choose the 60 fps option.
I wouldn't mind if this game was delisted as it is a monumental stain on the Xbox brand and effectively broke the momentum they had going into 2023.
Agreed. Also, one thing Sony needs to realize is that a successful live service game can cannibalize the success of their AAA 1st party games as the more casual mass market would be too focused on spending their time and money supporting the live service.
This game is like warframe and destiny 2 combined, however, after playing it a while you can begin to see that the core systems from the games it tries to mimic are much more refined than what was implemented here. The mod system from warframe is much more complex and offers more customization than what is here. Though it is too early to tell and it is possible that I may have to wait until I reach the end game to give a more informed opinion.
What I like about the game is ...
