You DO realise that Games Radar and N4G are connected, don't you? They are part of the same network of sites.
Wonder why dkgshiz got so many 'Agrees' and I got some 'Disagrees'.
Games Radar didn't start out as a cheat website. It started out as a network of sites under the name 'Gamer Planet', which included 'Cheat Planet', 'Demo Planet' and 'Review Planet' and this was all back in 1999.
Games Radar is part of a network of Future Publishing websites, which evolved from the original Gamer Planet network to the netwo...
GamesRadar are actually owned by Future Publishing. They are pretty big actually. Cheat Planet is a part of that same network, as is ONM, OXM, OPM and every other Future Publishing gaming website. That's why they all link to each other.
And you know what? N4G is part of the SAME network.

If you were put off from the Wii because it was SD, then you've missed out on a hell of a lot of good games.
I take it that you no longer play PS2, PS1, Xbox games either then because they are all in SD?
For me, that's a ridiculous reason not to own a games console. Sure, I would understand if all the games were rubbish, but every games console prior to the 360 was in SD, and we have had some of the best experiences ever created on some of those mach...
Actually, in many European countries, a comma is very commonly used instead of a decimal point. It's not a grammatical error for them.
Wonder what I've said above that warrants the phantom disagrees?
I'm not saying that those games aren't playable. However, the subtle use of motion control adds a little something to the Galaxy games. I don't think that having these actions mapped to a button would work properly.
It's not about adding anything spectacular, but the little things that are added in Mario games are what make them so special.
Why would you buy the Wii if you just wanted to play the games that really show how subtle motion control can work in a game with a standard controller?
Come back when you've got all the stars in Galaxy 1 & 2 and then tell me Mario isn't a hardcore franchise.
Perhaps 99% of the hardcore Wii gamers are too busy playing the Wii to bother coming to N4G? lol.
Seriously, though, I've been a gamer for over 20 years, and Nintendo has been a staple in my gaming diet since I started. Sure there is a massive amount of casual and/or shovelware games on the Wii (note that casual does not always equal shovelware - Tetris and Angry Birds etc are pretty damn good!), but there was also a large amount on the PS2.
True gamers ...
I own all 3 consoles, and both handhelds, and this year, the 360 has got most of my play time, followed by the Wii and then the PS3.
Unfortunately, one of the biggest problems is the sheer number of fantastic games across ALL systems, and the severe lack of hours in the day to play them all.
To say that there are no decent games on the Wii is just ridiculous. I have just as much fun (if not more) playing the Wii when I get a chance as I do playing the 360 or...
For crying out loud! Where does Darkcharizard slate the PS3 or 360 in his list there? He doesn't. He's merely proving that there are quite a number of very good 'core' games on the system, and to say that there is nothing is wrong.
And note that he didn't list any WiiWare or VC games - just retail, unlike your list.
The fact is that there are plenty of great games on the Wii, just as there are plenty of great games on the PS3 and there ...
That's just the way things seem to be on N4G. Phantom disagrees for no reason. I don't mind disagrees when someone actually responds and creates a debate, but disagreeing for no reason and then not commenting is very annoying.
You can't say you've never looked back if you still have a few regrets about it. Isn't that looking back? :P
The Wii's graphics are fairly limited (except when in the hands of great developers), but have you seen the comparison between NMH on the PS3/360 and the Wii? There isn't that much of a difference to be honest. It uses the same art style, so the graphics are fairly close to what is already on the Wii.
A phantom disagree yet again!! I'm not surprised, although I do wonder why someone would disagree with a fact?
Does the Wii NOT have disc free Netflix? If so, somebody better tell Nintendo, then.
Just in case anybody is interested, the Wii also now has a disc free Netflix channel. I know that some people use the PS3 in their main room, and the Wii in the spare room (or bedroom), so that might be useful info for them. Just go to the Wii Shop and download the channel.
I'm just curious to know what Nintendo have said to make them arrogant all of a sudden? To the best of my knowledge, they are still practically the only games/hardware company that DON'T take cheap swipes at the competition ala Sony or MS.
Did they say that people would get a second job to buy a 3DS? All I've heard them say was the reaction to the 3DS played a SMALL PART in determining the value of the device. You still have to factor in a huge number of other ...
Just curious as to what gaming experiences you get on your iPhone. I'm talking about NATIVE gaming experiences, where you don't have to download (possibly questionable) emulators? The most I have seen is the likes of Angry Birds - a truly fantastic game, but it's no Peace Walker, is it? And aren't emulators somewhat questionably legal?
The 3DS can access the internet, it can play music, you can watch videos on it, it has WiFi and a camera. Whats more - you...
@Big_Dom
I was 12 years old when GamesMaster first aired, and watched it regularly.
However, as much as I agree with your sentiment, GamesRadar isn't GamesMaster's sister site - GamesMaster doesn't have a site of its own. What you may remember is that during GamesMaster, the reviews were actually handled by magazines, such as C&VG, and NOT the show itself.
C&VG is owned by Future Publishing. Do you see how this all links...
