Yes it is quite good. One of the more fun and enjoyable games available.

What - no Everyone's Golf 2? I LOVE playing that game on my PSP.

I wear glasses. 3D isn't a problem for me to see, but it sure as hell is annoying when you have to put other glasses on top of your existing ones! lol. Perhaps I'll have to get a pair of prescription 3D glasses to play in 3D on my PS3 lol.

Yes, but only because the muscles in the eyes haven't formed properly at that age.

I think the main reason he was having problems (considering most journos are quite excited about the 3DS) is the fact that he admits that he has a weak right eye.

Therefore, he won't be able to see the proper 3D effect at all (which is why it looked like ghosting). That doesn't just limit him to the 3DS, but to 3D movies and 3D games on the PS3 etc.

Instead of pretty much stating that the 3DS is crap, he should have made the common sense judgement th...

Glasses free 3D is only feasible on handheld at the moment. Nintendo's aim is to make their stuff affordable, so that more people buy it. They've in interested in 3D for 20 years, and been trying things out with it regularly, but the sticking point for them introducing it on a home console is cost to the consumer - expensive TV AND expensive glasses would put the majority of thie user base off purchasing. But on a handheld? That's a different story.

Nintendo have been playing with 3D for years - even before the Virtual Boy. Miyamoto and Iwata collaborated on a game back in the NES days! The GC was also capable of 3D output too, but it was never used.

I believe the 3DS cart size is around 2GB.

That's why the 3DS has a 'stick'.

So this is the UK chart up to 11th June. SMG2 was only released on the 10th. THat's not a bad start.

What a thoroughly well researched article there. I gather that, while he was on the IMDB anyway, he would also have noticed that there is indeed a Mortal Kombat game ( http://www.imdb.com/title/t... due out THIS YEAR (3 years before this film), so this could quite possibly have been a trailer or teaser for the game instead?

Why release a trailer for a film that is both on hold and not due for release for ano...

Let's not forget that not all casual games have to be bad. I'm pretty sure that casual gamers prefer good games to rubbish ones.

The onus for that lies with the developers, who are too lazy in many cases to even make a decent casual game.

I admit that I love a good casual game - Peggle is FANTASTIC. But let's not confuse that with shovelware. Not all casual games are shovelware.

I actually thought that it was the PS2 that started the console casual gamer trend. It was merely continued on the Wii because of the lower development costs.

I disagree, because if you listen to the voice chat on COD games etc, MOST of them are immature little kids. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but COD games are considered hardcore, aren't they?

Nintendo has ALWAYS been about FUN. They've been around for over 100 years creating games for families, and games that are fun. It's not something the JUST adopted.

Well said. I have that exact same opinion. I own all 3 home consoles, as well as the DSi and PSP. I only buy the games that interest me, and I, hopefully like most proper gamers, know the difference between quality and shovelware, and know how to spot a great game.

The Wii has loads of great games.
The PS3 has loads of great games.
The 360 has loads of great games.

All 3 have quite a few bad ones too (although the Wii has the most). Just b...

I'm totally dumbfounded by the level of immaturity displayed by some people on here. Honestly, it's almost as though most of you didn't even bother to click the link to the article.

This kind of idea should be welcomed, as there are a lot of disabled and handicapped people out there who can't play games due to their limited mobility and the lack of customisation found in controllers like the 360s.

For them, this could be a bit of a lifeline, ...

I'm assuming that the bag of rice was used so that the controller could mould itself to the users hands etc - if you look at the picture and the video, you'll see that it's also used as a wrist/arm rest.

In a full production model, something like memory foam would probably be used, but for a prototype like this (considering it was constructed in 2 hours), rice does the job fine.

As to why he did this in the first place - did you read the article? ...

Hate to rain on your parade, but in terms of quality (of build etc - not tech specs), Nintendo consoles and handhelds are the most reliable around, with the lowest failure rate out of anyone. Heck, my son split the hinge on his DS Lite, and the damn thing still actually works - even though it's only a wire that holds the thing together now!! I don't let him play it, of course, as it's dangerous, but still - it proves my point.

Years ago, I spilt a soft drink all...

Did you read the whole interview? There was nothing insulting said by Miyamoto at all. In fact, he almost never says anything insulting about the competition (unlike Sony and MS).

If you read the interview, you would notice that in the next sentence (which is conveniently missed out in these quotes), he states that it is his desire that everything Nintendo bring to the industry becomes the standard across the board.

If he was moaning about Sony copying or w...
