120 flames a second
lots of videos of smoke coming from series x maybe that's why its shaped like chimney
even VRR couldn't do anything against those 50fps dips, xbox version was all over the place
i think it will be more useful for 120fps games, dirt has a lot of screen tearing
with machine learning / dynamic resolution / checkerboarding games will have no problem hitting 60 in performance mode
its a non issue as far as im concerned
Grounded Final release LMAO
Gears 5 DLC LMAO
Starfield (rumored) LMAO
Halo Infinite LMAO
Flight Simulator LMAO
Gears Tactics its already been rated a 4/10 for not having any Tactics, LMAO
Forza Motorsport wont be out in 2021 LMAO
i know its not rage right know but in 3/4 years from know it will be a big reminder of yesteryear
i might be crazy, but i think these load times might just put a smile on peoples faces years from know
some Pc games support the dualshock 4 controller natively
i expect this to be the case for the ps5 dualsense controller as well, case by case basis
some reviewers have had there series x just sitting idle for two weeks because its so boring
how much boring can you handle
of course microsoft will make some feeble attempt of a comeback in three are four years, but do people really want to switch to a tired Ui / tired controller / same tired games, forza / halo / gears and 5x longer load times
its like buying a new car and the dash is not new slick and modern but the same tired dash as your old car, you just bought 500 bucks worth of petrol but nowhere to go, even when you do go you wont have amazing feedback and 3D audio, if you boast about how great your car looks you will get laughed at
i will give the series x a generous 6/10
ill give this review a 7/10
I've nothing against the S it wont slow down my PS5
if your buying one wait till they throw in a 1tb nvme and it comes with a free game all for 299/329
next christmas some time
a digital X version will also be 350 at some point
what's next, 540p with ray-tracing
nvidia wants to charge, 300 bucks for an extra 8 gigs and call it a Ti version, pretty ingenious
rumor has it at 1.5 gigs for the Os but sony reserve's 2 gigs for future possible growth
i suspect that half gig of ram will end up back in developers hands in two to three years when sony has locked down the Os, a potential of 14.5 gigs
there's a rumor that MS is only allowing SMT enabled on 5 cores for 10 threads to developers. Seems to be that 2 cores are required to be dedicated for the console I/O and bcpack/directstorage API implementation with 1 core for the OS
the ps5 SSD is 5x faster then the series x and the cpu will also be significantly faster
selling a 40 bucks nvme drive for 220 bucks
180 bucks of pure profit, add in those crazy priced battery packs and forced elite controller purchases, then your forced to buy a ridiculously overpriced set of headphones just so you can talk online and don't forget about that 1.4 hdmi, Yes you will also need to buy a 2.1 hdmi cable
they have been fixing this game for well over a year and it still looks like garbage
1440p stuttering cutscenes
30fps co-op
down to 1080p
8 seconds of waiting, what year is this
maybe the series s will run it better
why list a bunch of multi-plats
its looking like the x isn't all that its cracked up to be
