Ignore Orchard, it's the fevered dream of xbox fans that Sony would create a game for xbox that they get no financial benefit from, because reasons. Lol

Sorry Orchard, if Sony dumps MLB then the ip/name "the show" goes with them. Sure the MLB ip belongs to MLB but it's value in the video game space is directly tied to the ip/games Sony has created. MLB would lose a ton of equity that has been built up by sonys ip that would take a long time to build back up with another publisher. I don't think it will end becuase at least for now it financially benefits Sony to keep making them. And don't be silly, Sony is making money ...
Sorry Flawless, but xbox fans pretend not to care about numbers until the moment they believe they are good. Microsoft doesn't give actual numbers becuase under Phil Spencer they are obsessed with controlling the narrative.

Sure onisama, little plucky Microsoft with their 2.5 trillion dollar market cap is punching back against the big bad Sony corporation. You xbox fanatics have such a distorted view of reality.
There is a desperate attempt by the usual suspects to try any paint this as Activision begging Microsoft to save them. For people like Grubb who have had a hand in spreading Microsoft propaganda for years now that they were honest actors just looking out for gamers, this has been their message. Now most see what I have always seen, that a big bloated entity like Microsoft has no business being involved in gaming but to dominate it. Think about how a few Microsoft executives joined AB board re...
@wiz7191, name me one popular game produced by a Sony studios that wasn't funded by Sony. You can't. Sony has bought studios, yes but they either had a history of creating games for Sony when being 3rd party or have produced their most popular games after being acquired by Sony.
@Sireen and BenRV01 grow up. This is a problem bigger than gaming but your childish binary thinking of xbox vs playstation is still stuck in that debate. Will you still be whining about how people on internet forums said that xbox has no games, after they buy a couple more publishers? Microsoft has a history of this behavior and it was only a matter of time before they tried it with gaming.
Hi I'm Jin_Sakai and I'm delusional enough to believe Microsoft throwing their money bags around will make a "better workplace" at Activision. Lol

Just look at this comment from @4Sh0w it demonstrates the power of corporate propaganda. Saying "Microsoft is consumer friendly" while they do the exact opposite. Have you no understanding or knowledge of how Microsoft historically has acted in competitive markets?
Don't be dense gangsta_red this a power move by Microsoft who are simply throwing their corporate bloat around to somehow try and gain an unearned advantage over the competition. We've seen this behavior before from them in the pc space. Microsoft is bad for gaming, always has been always will be.
@sparky Sony will not pay to keep cod on their system. If there is any deal it will be to allow Sony to keep selling the game on their platform like mindcraft.
This is different than the Bethesda deal, which was inconsequential to Microsoft as whole given the dollars involved. 70 billion is a huge amount to spend in cash even for a 2 trillion dollar company.

Wow, that's some wild stuff there.
Done!
@brewin, numbers matter because they tend to cut through the spin.
How many copies did those games sale? What aren't those numbers included?

Sorry onisima but you're delusional, your perception of reality is seriously warped.

If you watched that interview with him and Spencer on cnbc it looks like he's not going anywhere.

If they are willing to do this then everything is on the table.
Get real Ted, there are no consoles being sold that even touch the cost of a high-end gpu let alone a whole gaming pc.
