The original xbox is the most hideous console ever made.
This is going to be an epic disaster mark my words. Think halo infinite, a game that took forever to make and is still woefully incomplete several months after its release. They'll fit in with the Microsoft perfectly being that Microsoft is the worse publisher in gaming by far in moving from concept to an actual quality game to play.

Battlestar it's attitudes like yours that will bring gaming to its knees. The worse part is is that people buying games on Nintendo and playstation consoles are essentially paying the bulk of the cost for 3rd party games on xbox. Microsoft has trained its fanbase to stop supporting game creation.

Referencing user scores to prove something is so laughably stupid, user scores are like refuge of frustrated fanboys trying to "bring a game down" with phony outrage. Most of the people complaining about this game on n4g haven't even played the game.
No it highlights the childish whiny attitude of gamers today especially from the xbox community. The outrage over this issue is so overstated that you would think nobody was having fun just driving cars which is absolutely not true. Complain,complain complain is all this crowd contributes to this hobby. The vast majority of the negative user reviews are from frustrated fanboys/trolls, who have nothing better to do.
Cerny and Sony got so much garbage thrown their way about how weak the ps5 was compared to the series consoles from the xbox community and some in the media. Turns out Cerny and his team designed the superior console in terms of performance.
It's not a good look to take something away once you've granted it. PD should know better, it's a dumb move and they should be criticized heavily for it.
Some gamers have been starved for great games. Lol. Amazing result, I'm just starting it but what I've played feels alot like a souls game in a free roaming environment. That must be its crazy appeal to the uninitiated.
@head GT7 could have been made 2 years from now, doesn't change the fact that it's a cross gen game. Designed to run on the base ps4.
Holds up? GT7 is a cross gen game. The real test is how will GT7 look compared to Forza 8.
Microsoft will continue to mismanage their gaming division because there is no pressure on them to improve, it just not that important to the company as a whole. Maybe that will change with the company spending 80 billion to buy up game publishers/studios which isn't an insignificant amount of money even to a company the size of Microsoft.
Microsoft xbox division is a terribly run organization, which i believe has crippled their ability to produce great games and get them to market. There seems to be a belief that if they just throw enough money at the division it will be a success.

More analysis from the alternate universe, where xbox is the market leader and actually produces top quality games that gamers will pay for and play for more than a week. To be fair the actual interview is much more balanced and level headed, then the title suggests. One good thing about Sony merging now and plus is that we will finally get actual data about the subscription model. Instead of the consistent stream of propaganda and bs metrics you get from Microsoft.
