@Orchard to bad for you, you're missing out on the last truly innovative space in gaming so what if it's niche. Astro bot rescue mission was the game of the generation last gen for me and it wasn't close. First time in a long time a game made me feel like a kid again playing it.
@wiz, Sony fans? I've seen zero natural buzz around this game apart from media types pointing to it as a savor for the big exclusive drought on Xbox.
@Another, these Bethesda rpgs use to be a big deal but at some point lost some of their luster. They're still big on pc so we'll see. It probably won't sell as well due to the xbox community no longer buying games, as it will be free on gamepass.
@HardKnock "our goty elden ring, ps saints Cory Barlog"? What's wrong with you? Starfield for some just doesn't look that interesting, is that OK with you? Lol
Man if this deal is ultimately blocked the collective cry from the xbox community and their corrupt journalists/youtubers will be glorious. Lol. Can't wait.
"Fijian regulators recently approved the acquisition " lol.
Only the main regulators have what is essentially veto power over these acquisitions.
Microsoft hides all of xbox stats/numbers. They're very concerned about controlling the message when it comes to that platform.
King_Noctis this acquisition has nothing to do with getting rid of Kotick. These fake journalists are all corporate Microsoft shills, they'd all be writing these articles no matter what publisher Microsoft was attempting to buy.
@Hofstadetman, it's kind of gross watching this trillion dollar company peddle their influence so outwardly. People don't think Microsoft has been engaging in a propaganda campaign this entire generation these articles are evidence of it.
MadLad Sony could have signed off and given its approval of this deal and the acquisition be blocked anyways. This is an issue between Microsoft and regulators, whining about big bad Sony won't win the day for Microsoft.
@Orchard they are off for both Sony and Nintendo but they are at least adjusted based on actual numbers from both companies. Microsoft doesn't give out numbers hasn't done so for years so vchartz numbers for xbox are just estimates of estimates, they're complete fiction.
Vchartz numbers are not valid.
Because a large segment of the xbox community don't pay for games anymore. Microsoft have successfully transitioned their customers to a subscription model.
Activision can enter into labor agreements right now with their employees this attempted purchase has no logical connection to that happening and will not address the issue of competition in the market.
That Tassi and others like him in the media have this weird obsession with seeing that this Activision purchase is approved. Now you're coming up with suggestions to help appease regulators? Lol
It's not that big a deal.
@lelo2play its an opinion. Starfield did not look good to me at all, looked very boring. But I appreciate that Bethesda games have an audience that that gameplay demo spoke to.
From what they said they plan to expand their vr catalog by making certain games they're already producing hybrid kinda like gt7. I hope they do make a vr third person view of a game like Spiderman.
