Look out everyone, Phil's talking again.
Gt7 vr is my game of the generation so far. I love this game, haven't been this into GT for several years. I'm thinking of getting one of motion chairs for my setup.
@z2g, if you can't afford it or justify spending the money then you certainly shouldn't. Its,not going anywhere. For me I don't need psvr2 to provide me a long list of AAA games from jump but there are some great AA games available beyond the 2 or 3 everyone talks about.
Yep, played it last night it's phenomenal. That first moment the camera switches to vr mode in the cockpit surprised me in a good way. Even checking out your cars in the various showrooms is amazing.
Some state of plays are great some not so much (like yesterday), Sony does a good job usually of setting expectations in advance. Stop believing the rumors of what game some "insider" knows is going to be there that always appear leading up to these events and you'll rarely be dissapointed.
@Obscure, when there is something to show they'll show it. No point in being upset over something completely out of your control.
Looks great
@Orchard, he waited till his contract was up. Why would a talented creator like Shinji want to work for a bloated, creatively bankrupt company like Microsoft longterm. I suspect we will see more of this.
I agree, I believe Microsoft has zero interest in gaming as an artistic endeavor and only see it as something to control and cram into their subscription model across all their portfolios. Their smug performance yesterday along with execs from Activision were reminiscent of something you'd see in the comment section of n4g. Troll like comments that I have made in the past. Lol
Microsoft is really good at giving press conferences, making troll like comments on Twitter and giving interviews. For the last year they have made interest in potential acquisitions as the primary driver of the conversation around xbox. Microsoft is not a serious company when it comes to gaming, their behavior yesterday was embarrassing and beneath what you'd expect from a major platform holder.
@onisama clearly you are not paying attention the deal as proposed by Microsoft was deemed to be anticompetitive by all 3 regulators. One regulator told Microsoft what it would take to pass the deal and Microsoft rejected their solution today. Sony is not the decision maker here but Microsoft keeps trying to make it about them.
@Easily I doubt Sony would buy Activision even if they were as rich as Microsoft. Sony has had plenty of opportunity to buy different studios/publishers over the last 30 years but have not because they see themselves as a platform holder.
The Nintendo deal is what they offered before the cma gave their proposed remedies Microsoft offered nothing new
Microsoft was told what it would take by the CMA and they essentially told the CMA today they are not willing to do it.
This is literally a repeat of what they did just before Christmas. Looks like they have nothing new to offer, there is nothing left but for the fat lady to sing.
@TheReal, It ain't going nowhere and will only come down in price, while the available games increases.
Let's be realistic here, xbox had no games ready for launch this gen or for the entirety of 2022 despite having approximately 1 million studios under their control. Lol. Let's not burden xbox with anything else especially having to design a new platform and games for it.
Got charged last night, should go out on Monday for delivery.
Man I was advised to play gt7 before the vr update so I did. The game is amazing can't wait for the vr update.
I'm good as long as the title is not sullied by being developed for the series consoles. Let the peasants stick to "eating out of the dumpster' so to speak. Lol
