Sony biggest mistake about these gaas is how they so publically and specifically highlighting their foray into them creating a big fat target for the outrage media and mindless internet community to rail against them. Should have just called it an attempt at online games which has been lacking in their portfolio and called it a day. I don't play gaas games myself, besides gt7 but I'm not automatically triggered by their mere existence.
@potatoseal, yeah these articles from pushsquare shouldn't be a surprise. They always try to get out ahead and ride the mindless hate/outrage wave. I suppose it's too much to ask for them to wait for the games actual release or at least to see gameplay before raging against Sony's "tone deafness" lol. I didn't like the showcase myself but the fanboys and idiot games media always take it too far.

@Abear, I found the mgs3 trailer to be among the least interesting of the showcase. I pure cgi trailer does nothing for me at this point just like the concord trailer.
It's kung-fu sword play/setting makes it stand out from the samurai based games we've been getting recently. Uses unreal engine 5 from what I understand, really compelling presentation.
@Apocalypse, It was not a good showcase and it's ok to admit that. Showing a f**king movie trailer in a playstation game event was beyond stupid and smacked of dumb corporate group think. There were some games that caught my attention, but playstation needs to do better.
It was a very meh showcase and it's entirely playstation fault. Waiting for almost 2 years since your last showcase built expectations that were not met at least for me. Showing trailers for SF6 was a giant waste of time we already had the chance to play the game, and it's been thoroughly advertised. FF16 I'm getting day 1 but we have seen enough and there was no demo announcement. MGS3 was a cgi trailer for a multiplatform game, who cares its probably years out. What really knock...

Simultaneous pc releases would do next to nothing for playstation besides delaying/complicating development, introduce potential pirating/cheaters to the ecosystem in exchange for sharing mediocre sales income with steam/epic. The console gamer will make way more money for playstation in the long run and should therefore recieve preferential treatment.
