Blah blah blah the new ceo blah blah blah. Only recently did square stop putting ff on Xbox because it's a console nobody wants who's player base doesn't buy games. They give the xbox community a 10 year old game and suddenly ff is great again for xbox fans, lol. I suspect all the trashing online of ff16 with suddenly die down.
Microsoft has a history of abandoning ventures as soon as they don't go the way they expect them to.

There was never any real debate, just a weirdo group of individuals online that intensely wants this game to fail, including idiots like yongyea and other YouTubers who dip their tows into the console wars from time to time. I believe becuase it's a big 3rd party ps5 exclusive. 3 million in less than a week is more than some of biggest ips on playstation that have gone on to sell 10-20 million copies.
Jim Ryan has done his job by providing playstation gamers with an endless stream of great games to play. He also fought Microsoft latest acquisition as far as he could before having to do what was responsible to protect playstation gamers. If you like endless meaningless babble and court appearances exposing corporate rot, Phil Spencer is your man.

This is like the 1 millionth story attacking this one particular game. Allow me to adjust my tinfoil hat but don't tell me this isn't a coordinated campaign against this game becuase its a playstation exclusive.
That is not correct. The email from Ryan that is referenced regarding access to COD was from early 2022, before Spencer formally offered COD for only an additional 3 years which triggered Ryan public response that it wasn't enough.
I saw some of the actual gameplay on what was stated to be on the series x, looked like it was running
smoothly. I have zero interest in this game, seems like alot of busy work for mostly nothing, doesn't matter dont own an xbox anyways. But for the xbox faithful this looks to be it you've got xboxs first real big exclusive, hope you all enjoy.
