The ps3 will be the longest running next gen console in 6 more years. Sony has a proven history of supporting their consoles for 10 years. Dominance is imminent as of right now. As long as there are new ps3 exclusives? the ps3 will remain on top. Oh and i'm talking about quality.
On the sales front it's only a matter of time before the ps3 surpasses the 360.

If it turns out to be 360 lead i'm not buying the game. We all know how games turn out on the ps3 if it's lead on the 360. I say "no" to bad ports.

Sometimes it's not all about money. They've already sold 5 mil with ff13. why not take the chance and make a quality ff game on one platform. They can afford it.
If releasing FFvs13 on multiple platforms means gimping it, then i don't want to have any part of it. FF13 was mediocre already. We don't need another following it's shoes. Sometimes you have to learn to balance quality and selling yourself out. They have made 5 mil with FF13 right? why not take a chance and make a real FF game by leaving it on one platform? Greed will eventually kill this industry trust me.

I agree with most of what you said but the only false part is that Alan Wake and Halo are 360 exclusives so they have no reason why they couldn't be 720p native. On the topic of RDR, like i said in my comment below, i will not support mediocre ports. I thought the whole idea of games going multiplat was to look and play equal on all platforms. Seems to me like Rockstar has been taking it alittle easy on the ps3 since GTA4. I learnt my lesson from that. I'll wait till the game is $20 t...

Dude this was the same scenario as FF13. That turd also got a free pass on the 360. At atleast the cut-scenes are equal in this. FF13 ps3 had 1080p cut scenes while the 360 had 720.
