That does sound familiar. It sounds like what Sony is doing right now. Bad hardware choices and design decisions that are biting them in the ass. People don't want to work on the Cell and Blu-ray caused the price to be so high, the PS3 got delayed because of Blu-ray, price caused the PS3 to have slow sells and is costing the company billions.

If Microsoft wants to make up for pulling the Halo announcement with an event for fans(and Bungie), I think it would be a step in the right direction.
