I think I might have to buy a PS3 just to see what this Uncharted 2 hubbub is all about.
I'm glad the Shrink Ray made an appearance. You don't get whacky weapons like that in FPS games anymore.
Good article. I agree that the excellent voice acting adds a tremendous amount of atmosphere and authenticity to the game. Special props especially to Mark Hamil. A special nod also to the game's writer, Paul Dini. He was the producer/writer of the animated series who shows time and time again that he really gets Batman.
The base system is a worthwhile investment if you are a collector. While you can purchase a lot of the best Turbo games off the Wii's Virtual Console, there are a few that are still unavailable.
By the way, a remake of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood was released for the PSP, titled Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. The original Rondo and Symphony of the Night were also unlockable.
Apparently the Virtual Console in Japan has the Turbo/PC Engine version of Rondo ...
As the preview indicates, I would imagine that the fun factor would be reliant upon the maturity of one's fellow players. It will be interesting to see what the final product looks like. I must admit that the concept, while intriguing, does not seem like it would lend itself to a great amount of replay value (at least not compared to a game like Smash Bros.).
I agree. If the game makes enough money then they will second guess their stance on a sequel. That being said, it is nice that they are being respectful to the historical aspects of the story (even though they have clearly glammed it up a bit).
Nice pictures. If you could get Katy Perry to play Robin then I'd be really happy.
I don't mind some sexuality as long as it is accompanied by quality gameplay (e.g., Bayonetta). Such balance, however, is an unfortunate rarity.
