Uncharted is it.
Uncharted is the only game that I have ever played that will run from beginning to end with no load times, no glitches, no bugs, no framerate hiccups, and no bad camera angles. Uncharted does all this while being the best looking console game ever made, by the way that is not an exaggeration, and having a range of difficulty levels and telling a good story.
Simply put, it is a masterpiece, the Mona Lisa of this generation.
Depict the killing of children. The movie may tell you that it happened, but they never actually show it. They youngest person that you will see get killed in an American movie, TV show, or comic is an adolescent that has clearly begun their child-bearing years.

As someone who owns a PS3 and not a 360 I can say without prejudice that there is no way Sony (or anybody else) can sell a video game for $400US while its nearest competitor is selling one for $250US in this economic climate.
I suspect that Sony is just doing the usual 'deny the price cut until the day you cut the price' in order to not cannibalize its own sales. If the credit crunch has indeed made it so that Sony can not afford the cut the price for this Christmas then Sony ...
Have you been paying attention to the latest economic news. The US economy has cut jobs every month this year. And the slow-down in the US has begun to affect the rest of the world.
Businesses don't run in a vacuum. Worldwide economic conditions play a major role in determining what people can and can not afford to buy.
I was seriously considering buying this game. But seeing that there are 5 or 6 games coming out in the next 2 weeks that I was weighing, the lack of online play is just the piece of information that I needed to eliminate it from consideration.

I wholeheartedly disagree. The problem with the 360 controller is not the button layout (although the shoulder bumpers do stretch your hand out a bit). The problem with the 360 controller is the d-pad. It is the most imprecise controller I have ever used. The 360 pad is notorious for registering the wrong directions, in fighting games that is death.

I too, want another single player game.
As long as there is a standard hard drive there will be mandatory installs. The mandatory installs are a result of the standard hard drive that is in every PS3.
That way I could move around properly and actually hit the targets that I want to attack.
You know,...instead of the wall or thin air.
And while they are at it they should fix the camera, so that I can see who is actually hitting me.
The economy sucks. No one has any money. Therefore the upgrade to HDTV is taking longer than anticipated, Therefore Blu-ray is struggling. However, is Sony keeps selling PS3's then Blu-ray will be the default format whenever the economy does pick-up and the public really starts buying HDTV's.
This is just further evidence that Sony's decision to put Blu-ray into the PS3 was the right move for them.

Each of us is now dumber for having read that article. Those were valuable minutes of my life that I can never get back.
Misleading Title
9 out of 10 from LucasArts. They almost always get cheap and leave their games just short of what they should be.

I take offense at you putting Heavenly Sword in the same category as Lair and Haze. Heavenly Sword was quite good, and was rated and "8" practically across the board.

He wants people to stop moaning about the RROD, because M$ is replacing the broken Xboxes quicker. Quickly replacing a broken item is not an excuse for poor quality.
This guy has had and Xbox 360 for 33 months. He lost one month to the RROD. In the time, he has used up 3 Xbox 360's and is now expecting his 4th. That means his math is 32 ÷ 3 = 10.66667 month. If the want to sell DLC, they should sell us the add-on to put SC2 music in the game.
Microsoft needs this to keep their games competitive in the future. I suspect that in about a year we will start to see hard drive required games on the Xbox 360.
