""I asked if they were happy with the game's sales performance. "Obviously not," Kristensen said.
"I think the timing wasn't awesome for a brand new IP, if you think about everything that came out in the last quarter of last year, we were up against every other big gun," she explained. "Launching a big IP is hard, and you need it to be in the public's eye and so forth, and you need a big push to get what you have out to people. I...
I'm late tot he discussion but I checked the box of my 80GB backwards compatible PS3 and yes Heavenly Sword is on the back of that box.
I meant don't be the guy who wants to score with a chick but gets labeled as "sweet" and settles for just being their friend. That's what I meant.
But being "just a friend" is not a problem if you don't want to score. Besides you probably have more women than you know what to do with, so, no big deal.
Oh, and that last line should have been, "there is no reason for people to act like AN ass, either."
Sooooo...You're in their "just a friend" zone?
It doesn't matter since these are people you know over Xbox live, and you don't really know them at all.
But as a rule you don't want to be in the friend zone.
That said, there is no reason for people to act like ass either.
How much do they charge for World of Warcraft? How does DCU compare to Warcraft in cost?
@Viper
I suspect that they do. In my short time on planet earth I have found very few cases where nationalism doesn't grant one a few percentage points from someone of the same national background.
@Pillville
Most gamers are not concerned about the console-wars. But a significant number are. Gears normally sells about 5-7 million copies. Fan-ism would affect 1-2 million of that from negative emotion, without bring a corresponding positive emotion from PS3 fans, because they really haven't been asking for the game.
Remember Gears of Wars is the 360's graphics and technical king. Going multi-plat would force it away from that.

Is it the whole gaming internet now? I knew it was N4G but have PS3 fans taken most of the gaming internet as a whole?
What a difference a few years makes. I remember when you had to be on a PS3 site to find good PS3 comments and press. Now we have PS3 favoring flame-bait on 360 sites, never cease to amaze.
I wouldn't say rich, they still have to pay their Xbox Live fees.
A hardcore exclusive or two would be nice. Boy, did I buy a 360 at the wrong time. I bought one last year, in what is increasing looking like the last year of its hardcore life.
There are only 2 possibilities...
1) The PS3 version is an inferior port like so many others.
2) Microsoft is paying for extra attention like they so often do.
Heavenly Sword should be on list.
True Dragon Sword should be on list.
Soul Calibur, especially Knightmare/Siegreid's Soul Calibur from SCII should be on list.
But there own list is out of whack as someone said above, with the Buster Sword and the Master Sword they rated them by association to the user and not by their power relative to their game nor by the swords own unique cool factor.
P.S.
Okay, maybe not the buster ...
Indeed, it seems Karl doesn't know what liberal means. It appears that he has adopted the Rush Limbaugh definition of liberal that simply says that everything bad is liberal.
Hackers already steal our credit card numbers, bank info, credit etc.
It looks to me that Sony is simply trying to buy time by tying this up in court. This is not difficult logic. I own a PS3, if I want to hack it I can. If I do hack it that is not violation Sony's rights or...
Man that was quick. Before I can even read about the new firmware I see a new article telling me that it has been hacked.
Don't know why, it probably has something to do with old English customs, besides day,month,year doesn't make any sense either. It should be year,month,day. That's the way my computer understands it anyway.
And it would be a royal pain to change the entire U.S. over to the metric system.
And have the towns and shops cut out of it.
No it wouldn't double overnight, it would shrink overnight.
Simply put the pain that such a move causes to 360 fans would outweigh the joy that such a move causes to PS3 fans.
If Epic announced Gears 3 was going multi-plat, the gaming internet would be on fire. All PS3 fans would be saying "ha,ha" and all the 360 fans would feel betrayed, stop defending Gears, and start to look at with an honest critical eye. When they start to do that some...
@gamingdroid
Yeah, the person who said that was girl,...or a boy named Hilary.
Your best shot at getting some is the girl you brought to the dance.
You should dance with her first.
It sounds like Team Ninja wants to appeal to more customers. I don't have a problem with that. But that can't simply mean making the game easier and eliminating the challenge that makes us already loyal fans buy the game on day one. I have to reserve final judgment until after I have seen the final product, but If they do that I will consider the...
Ninja Gaiden Black/Sigma was a defensive game. You have to defend yourself first then attack when you have opening.
Ninja Gaiden 2/Sigma 2 was an offensive game. You have to attack to stop them from attacking you.
Itagaki said that in an interview I read a long time ago.
I just had to comment because this is the lowest review score that I have ever seen.
