And Heavenly Sword was on the back of the PS3 box, and had a product placement in an episode of "Heroes" during prime-time.
Ninja Theory is full of it.
Yeah, I don't get this "as quickly as we can" stuff.
I don't understand why video game makers won't give the public what they ask for. Why did we get 13-2 when we wanted vs13? (actually I know the answer to that...they had so much cut content from FF13 that they chose to make a new game with it.) Why won't Ninja Theory give us Heavenly Sword 2? Why can't we get Bayonetta 2? Why did Team Ninja have to change Ninja Gaiden?

It would sting a LOT more. We've already seen a FF game be severely downgraded by going multi-plat. Versus would be no different.
@ilikestuff
You don't have to shoot, or should I say 'kill,' anybody to play Metal Gear Solid, other than non-human boss battles that is. You can finish a Metal Gear Solid game with zero body count if you have the skill and desire. That's ZERO, 0.00, none, zip, zilch, nada.
That is one of the things that makes Metal Gear Solid, so...solid. You can stack kills like Rambo or you can be a ghost, with no one ever even seeing you during the wh...
What a way to ruin a game. Interest in this game is almost all gone. Ninja Gaiden articles barely get more than 10 comments now.

Who knows whether or not it is the Unreal Engine that is holding developers back or not??? Here is what I do know.
Nothing that we have seen on consoles that uses the Unreal Engine has equaled Uncharted 1.
Uncharted 1 has been surpassed by several games, all of which use something besides the Unreal Engine. I suppose that it is possible that every developer who uses UE is categorically worse than the developers who use in-house engines.

There is no way in hell that Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo is going to sell a system that doesn't work if it is not connected to the internet. Or at least that won't be the only system that they sell. That anti-used game system is a pipe dream.
EDIT:
Nor will it lock games discs to a single username. That would require a writable disc and a drive that could write to disc. There is no way we are getting that.

I guess I'm a collector. I get some sort of psychic boost from owning it. If I like the game I don't even trade them back. I like letting them stack up. I own 30 to 40 games right now.
Yeah, its cheaper to do what you suggested. But this gaming. It's purely for entertainment purposes. I do what entertains me.
They probably thought you had stolen them and was BS'ing you to get you to leave. It sounds like they didn't want to deal.
Dear Japanese game developers:
Everytime you try to out-American the Americans you will lose. Quit trying to westernize your games. Just make good games and advertise them. Your product is good if you would simply make good games according to your own taste. But trying to out-western the westerners is a guaranteed loser.
The reason COD sells so many units is because THEY ADVERTISE ALL YEAR. If you want to sell like Call of Duty, why don't you try a...

The saddest part is that you can see it coming, isn't it?
The real issues come from the full interview which comes from Computer and Video Games.

I would be happy to take that beta key from anybody who does not want theirs.
I think there are going to be more weapons by DLC. I know that there is video on Youtube of NG3 gameplay with the Ryu using the claws.
@smashcrashbash
You forgot to mention the magic kit that replenishes the ammo of all types of guns at once, the radar screen that shows all the people and equipment on the battlefield, and the simple fact of having a rocket launcher in your back pocket.
I'm late but I gotta jump and co-sign on the Alma fight, especially the first Alma fight. When you consider the speed, timing and overall skill that it takes to beat he, she is probably most difficult but un-cheap boss in gaming.
Ignore his opinion of video games???? I don't give $$$$ about his opinion of movies.
It must be said, that their rationale for complaining about the sales never made sense. They were complaining about losing money on Heavenly Sword because they were exclusive. However, at that time Heavenly Sword had sold 1.5 million copies. The gaming community responded to Ninja Theory's complaints with a collective shout of, "HOW DO YOU LOSE MONEY ON 1.5 MILLION COPIES SOLD?"
Ninja Theory never answered that; they just kept on complaining.
Dear Ninja Theory:
Please see the sales figures for Ninja Gaiden 3.
Sincerely,
Darrius Cole
